We were deeply saddened by the news of Martin Parr’s passing. He was a true visionary and irreplaceable force in contemporary photography.

Some of our team had the pleasure of meeting him years ago at a Bob Books event, and we were fortunate enough to speak with him again via Zoom during lockdown. He was understandably frustrated at being unable to venture out with his camera, but he generously shared his reflections on lockdown life, Instagram, and the future of photography.

Martin Parr leaves a remarkable legacy, and though he will be profoundly missed, his vision endures through his exceptional body of work.
