Okay so I have to share this because I just realised something that lowkey embarrassed me 😅

You know when you need to merge a PDF quickly and you just Google "merge PDF free" and upload your files to whatever website comes up first?

Yeah. I've been doing that with contracts, payslips, important documents… for YEARS. Not once did I stop to think about where those files were actually going.

Turns out most of those free PDF websites store your uploaded files on their servers for hours — sometimes days. For a meme or a recipe that's fine. But for a contract with someone's name and money details on it? Not great.

So I built something about it 😅

RightPDFKit — a free PDF tool that does everything those websites do (merge, split, compress, edit, protect, OCR and 16 other things) except your files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser. No upload. No account. Nothing stored anywhere.

I know it sounds too good to be true so genuinely — open it, press F12 to see the network activity, drop a file in and watch. Zero uploads. I'll wait 😂

It's completely free: 👉 rightpdfkit.com

Whether you're sending CVs, contracts, payslips, invoices or just trying to compress that PDF your landlord sent you that's somehow 47MB — this is the one.

Share with anyone you think would find it useful 🙏🏾

*P.S. It works on mobile too. Dark mode and light mode. Yes I went all out 😂*

Hope you guys know there is problem with the way people just decide to pick nomination forms without prior thought about what they want to do in office.

NASS is the most popular as we have so many people going there.

Do these people have plans on bills they want to sponsor?

For younger Nigerians who may not know.

There are two types of primaries to select a party flagbearer.

Direct or Indirect.

Direct is where all party members vote and choose candidates; it was first added sometimes in 2019 in the electoral law.

Indirect is where parties choose a few delegates and they vote a candidate. This is where those who have cash bribe delegates to vote for them. So if a party has a good chance of winning deciding their candidate is done by bribery by the highest bidders who share dollars.

Yes, less than 5000 delegates decide your President. That has been the system for years.

Atiku Abubakar is well know for this. Nyesom Wike shared more in 2023 and was going to win until Aminu Tambuwal asked his delegates to vote Atiku.

So Peter Obi asking for direct primaries is because he is not corrupt to share money to buy votes when people should actually vote on competence and who can do the job.

Atiku Abubakar himself wants consensus where the party leaders will handpick someone after some back room dealings and that will disenfranchise millions of party members who want otherwise.

That is the issue here.

Don’t let anyone lie to you that Peter Obi spoilt the coalition.

He is not the problem, he wants things done differently. Atiku is the problem and has been for 33 years since he started running.

This is like reactive maintenance.

But the question is; will the President now and his colleagues use this hospital.

These people don’t use these hospitals because they are inequipped or staff are incompetent. No! It is fear. Politicians fear for their life even for those who have done nothing.

Only a few can comfortably live lives and not worry that anyone will come after them.

I have had experience in FMC, Abuja; and it was not that bad but of course; politicians fear that enemies will kill them by error or deliberately.

Or like someone said, no one wants to come back as co**se from a foreign country.

Nigeria does a lot of disservice to ourselves if we project Abuja and Lagos as Nigeria’s success story especially to foreigners.

It’s just like GDP per capita. You can use the wealth of these cities when we have larger population from the other 35 states.

We are projecting a pseudo reality while the rest of the nation suffer.

In fact, diaspora Nigeria is also being added to the success of the country while the states retrogress.

How?

Despite all that he did with regard to infrastructure, the country still cried and bemoaned how bad his government was.

PBAT is on the same trajectory.

An Obi as President is likely to have same but why is it so?

Foundational structures of injustice and a wealth gap that keeps increasing every four years.

If you follow the NGX, you will see how multinationals and large companies are cashing and investors making money. You invest only when you have enough residual income.

Nigeria has a foundational issue that favours a few. That makes people including foreigners rate the country based on Abuja and Lagos while the rest of the country trails far behind.

That restructuring we keep talking about is our most viable lifeline out of this if you ask me.

The irony of Office of the President and Vice-President in Nigeria.

The VP is constitutionally in charge of the Economic Council; so you see an Atiku chairing privatisation. efforts in 2003.

But guess what.

A VP might assemble the best minds; technocrats and what have you but the President is busy drawing loans and take decisions that affect the market and investor confidence.

Recession in 2016 taught us one thing that the economy knows no tribe or ethnicity and it is the most important factor to determine a growing nation.

Politics is just a show without it.

So a VP will be overworking himself while the President is busy junketing about and doing things that directly affect the economic policies and we wonder what went wrong.

This is not a Yemi Osinbajo approval post but do you remember the difference of him being VP and Acting President.

These things matter.

Why do I feel Trump is deliberately shaking up the world with these tariff wars.

Like he wants to show he is the leader of the free world not just America.
