অব্যান (Oban) হলো স্কটল্যান্ডের আরগাইল অ্যান্ড বিউট (Argyll and Bute) কাউন্সিল এলাকার একটি রিসোর্ট শহর। আকারে ছোট হলেও, এটি হেলেনসবার্গ (Helensburgh) এবং ফোর্ট উইলিয়াম (Fort William)-এর মাঝের সবচেয়ে বড় শহর।

এটি ভালোবেসে “স্কটল্যান্ডের সীফুড রাজধানী” নামে পরিচিত, কারণ এখানে বিশ্বমানের রেস্টুরেন্টে সবচেয়ে সুস্বাদু সীফুড পরিবেশন করা হয়। মুল (Mull), আইওনা (Iona), এবং বার্রা (Barra)-এর মতো দ্বীপগুলোতে যাওয়ার প্রধান ফেরি টার্মিনাল হওয়ায়, অব্যানকে বলা হয় স্কটল্যান্ডের পশ্চিম দ্বীপপুঞ্জের প্রবেশদ্বার। এর সুরক্ষিত বন্দর শতাব্দীর পর শতাব্দী ধরে সমুদ্রযাত্রা ও হুইস্কি তৈরির সহায়ক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে আসছে 🍻🚣‍♀️🏝️🏡

Oban is a resort town within the Argyll and Bute council area of Scotland. Despite its small size, it is the largest town between Helensburgh and Fort William.
