লন্ডনের এক শান্ত সকালে, আরাফাত হাঁটছিল হাইড পার্কের প্রশস্ত পথ ধরে। সবুজ ঘাসে ভরা চারপাশ, পাখির কিচিরমিচির আর হালকা ঠান্ডা হাওয়ায় তার মনটা যেন আরও প্রশান্ত হয়ে উঠেছিল। কাজ আর ব্যস্ততার ভিড়ে এমন নিরব প্রকৃতির মাঝে নিজেকে খুঁজে পাওয়া যেন এক আশীর্বাদ।

হঠাৎ তার চোখে পড়ল এক দৃষ্টিনন্দন গাছ—গাঢ় সবুজ পাতার ফাঁকে ফোটে আছে গুচ্ছ গুচ্ছ গাঢ় গোলাপি ফুল। সে এগিয়ে গেল গাছটার দিকে, হাত বাড়িয়ে ছুঁয়ে দেখল ফুলগুলো। মনে হলো, যেন শৈশবের কোনো স্মৃতি ফিরে এসেছে। বাংলাদেশের গ্রামের সেই শিমুল গাছ, যার নিচে সে একদিন দিদির সঙ্গে খেলে বেড়াত।

একটি ফুল তুলে নিয়ে সে হালকা হাসল, ঠিক তখনই ক্যামেরার ক্লিকে ধরে রাখা হলো সেই মুহূর্তটি—মনের ভিতর থেকে উঠে আসা আনন্দের, স্মৃতির আর প্রকৃতির সঙ্গে একাত্ম হওয়ার মুহূর্ত।

আরাফাত জানত, জীবনের এই ছোট ছোট মুহূর্তগুলোই আসলে সবচেয়ে বড় সুখ এনে দেয়।
