Delicious One-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken and Noodles 🍜
Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce (use low sodium if preferred)
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
8 oz (225 g) noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, or linguine)
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)
2 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Directions
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown on all sides (about 5–6 minutes). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté Aromatics
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until fragrant and the onion becomes translucent, about 2–3 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the Sauce
Stir in:
Honey
Soy sauce
Hoisin sauce
Rice vinegar
Sesame oil
Red pepper flakes (if using)
Simmer the mixture for 2 minutes to meld the flavors.
Step 4: Cook the Noodles
Pour in the chicken broth and add the uncooked noodles.
Stir to coat the noodles in the sauce. Cover the skillet and simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and have absorbed much of the liquid.
Step 5: Finish the Dish
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the noodles.
Add the cornstarch slurry (1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water) and let the sauce thicken for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish.
Serve immediately while hot.

Instant succulent Pot Lamb Shanks

Ingredients:

2 tbsp olive oil
4 lamb shanks, trimmed of excess fat
1 onion, chopped
2 large carrots, chopped in large pieces
2 celery ribs, chopped in large pieces
3 garlic cloves, smashed
2 tbsp tomato paste
3 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
2 bay leaves
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening)

Instructions:

Sear the Lamb Shanks: Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add olive oil and sear lamb shanks for 7-10 minutes, until browned on all sides. Set them aside.
Cook Vegetables: Add the chopped onion and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened. Then add carrots, celery, and garlic, cooking for 2-3 more minutes.
Add Tomato Paste: Stir in tomato paste, cooking for 2 minutes.
Add Broth & Seasonings: Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, bay leaves, and salt. Stir well.
Pressure Cook: Return lamb shanks to the pot, tucking them into the liquid. Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 50 minutes. Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release the remaining pressure.
Thicken the Sauce: Remove the lamb shanks. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup water, add to the sauce, and let simmer until thickened.
Serve: Plate the lamb with mashed potatoes or vegetables, topped with the sauce.

BBQ Chicken Drumsticks served with Fries & Buns 🍗🍟

A perfect meal for any gathering or a cozy night in.

Ingredients:
- Chicken drumsticks: 6-8 pieces
- Honey: 2 tbsp
- Chopped parsley: For garnish
- Burger buns: 2-3
- Garlic powder: 1 tsp
- Paprika: 1 tsp
- Salt & pepper: To taste
- BBQ sauce: 1/2 cup
- Fries: 2 cups

Instructions:

1. Season the Drumsticks:
Start by patting the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels. In a bowl, season them generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Allow the drumsticks to marinate for about 15 minutes to let the flavors soak in.

2. Cook the Chicken:
For Baking: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the seasoned drumsticks on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes. Halfway through, carefully baste the drumsticks with BBQ sauce to enhance the flavor.

For Grilling: Preheat the grill to medium heat. Grill the drumsticks for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes for a mouthwatering glaze.

3. Prepare the Fries:
If using frozen fries, cook them according to package instructions until they're golden and crispy. If you prefer homemade fries, cut potatoes into thin strips, toss them in oil and season with salt, then bake or fry until crispy.

4. Toast the Buns:
Take the burger buns and lightly toast them in a pan or on the grill until they are golden brown. This adds a delightful crunch and extra flavor.

5. Assemble the Plate:
Serve the BBQ chicken drumsticks on a plate alongside the crispy fries and toasted burger buns. Don’t forget a small bowl of extra BBQ sauce for dipping! Garnish your meal with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
