āš”ļøWhen Lightning Strikes. Part 4: The Finale āš”ļø

Lightning struck during a wedding reception. The electricity failed. The generator failed. Even the main kitchen stopped operating.

But the event coordinator didn’t panic.

🧠She opened the East Ballroom, recreated the tables with the guests’ names and flowers, moved everyone safely table by table and used the second kitchen to keep the wedding meal moving.

The reception continued.

šŸ”‘When the strategist analysed what happened, she didn’t see luck, she saw leadership under pressure, planning, coordination and guest care working together.

More importantly, she recognised a proven system.

šŸ’ÆThat experience was transformed into the Ā£297 Venue Contingency Toolkit: an emergency checklist, relocation plan and staff response guide that other venues could use.

šŸ’µThat is what it means to leverage your experience.

Something you have lived through, solved or learned can become a repeatable asset that helps someone else—and generates income.

Your experience is your leverage, and your leverage is your income.

⚔ When Lightning Strikes. Part 3

I arrive at the office and I’m met by the event coordinator, who begins walking me through the plans for the day.

Everything appears organised, but sometimes, the most important moments are the ones nobody could have planned for…

4 reasons talking down another business always costs you more than it gives you.

I see it constantly, people trying to grow their own business by quietly picking apart someone else’s. It doesn’t work the way people think it does.

There’s a psychological cost to it. The traits you assign to someone else’s business have a way of sticking to you instead. Every negative comparison gives away a scarcity mindset. Naming a competitor forces your audience to take sides. And picking apart someone else usually reads as insecurity, not authority.

Your growth was never meant to come at someone else’s expense. There’s room for your name to rise without another one needing to fall. Let’s build businesses we’re proud of, elevated, and true to who we are.

šŸ‡I came home to so many beautiful, sweet grapes that part of the vine had fallen under the weight!

šŸ¤µšŸ½ā€ā™‚ļøMy husband quickly put it back up, I picked bunches and bunches, and now the fermentation bottles are ordered and the yeast is arriving tomorrow.

Apparently, rest can wait. We’re making w**e! šŸ˜‚šŸ‡šŸ·

Here’s a side of me you probably didn’t know about…

šŸ’µThe Ā£40-an-Hour Skill Nobody Named

🧠There’s a skill I used every single day for years, one nobody ever taught me to call a business skill.

ā±ļøYears spent making fast judgement calls, weighing evidence, and carrying real responsibility under pressure.

āš™ļøTurns out, that’s a consultancy skillset in disguise. Swipe through to see what I mean, and the one part almost everyone misses.

šŸ‘‰ This is exactly what we work on inside iDigiPhoenix Connect Institute.
