💥 WIRRAL PREDATOR JAILED FOR 10 YEARS AFTER TARGETING FOUR CHILDREN — SOME AS YOUNG AS FIVE

A 68-year-old Wirral man who targeted four children, including victims aged as young as five, over a period spanning around 25 years has been jailed.

Colin Walker, of Church Road, Tranmere, was sentenced to 10 years in prison at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, 20 April 2026.

He will also serve a further 12 months on extended licence following his release.

The court heard that Walker preyed on four complainants over approximately 25 years, with some of his victims just five years old when the offending took place.

# # MULTIPLE CHILD S*X OFFENCES

Walker had previously admitted two counts of s*xual assault of a child under 13 and one offence of causing a child to engage in s*xual activity.

He denied a string of further allegations, which were subsequently put before a jury.

Following a trial, Walker was convicted of a further 12 counts of s*xual assault of a child under 13, four counts of assault by pe*******on and two counts of indecent assault.

He was sentenced to 10 years behind bars, with an additional 12 months on extended licence.

The court also imposed a lifelong S*xual Harm Prevention Order.

Walker was made subject to indefinite restraining orders and will remain on the S*x Offenders Register for life.

Detective Constable Graeme Beacall praised the four victims for the courage they showed in coming forward and taking part in the court proceedings.

He said: “I would firstly like to pay tribute to Walker’s victims for their courage during the court proceedings.

“Walker was a predator who preyed on his victims over a number of years. It is right that as a result of his actions he will now spend a considerable period of time behind bars.

“I hope that knowing he has been brought to justice will allow them to move on with their lives.”

Bradley Fox Basingstoke Child Abuse Material Conviction

A 28-year-old Basingstoke man who shared and distributed severe child s*xual abuse material across the internet has been sentenced to two years and four months' imprisonment.

Bradley Fox, of Brahms Road, Basingstoke, appeared before Wi******er Crown Court on Friday 2 October 2026 for sentencing after entering guilty pleas to five indictable offences relating to the production and dissemination of illicit digital material.

The investigation was initiated after specialist monitoring detected that Fox had uploaded indecent images of children online. On 21 January 2025, officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary's Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team (ICAIT) attended his residential address in Basingstoke, where Fox was arrested and his property was searched under warrant.

Specialist officers seized a range of digital hardware, including mobile phones and computer equipment. Comprehensive forensic analysis of the devices confirmed that Fox was actively involved in distributing abusive files to other internet users. Investigators recovered evidence demonstrating that Fox had transmitted three Category C images as well as four Category A videos, which depict the most severe and violent forms of child s*xual exploitation recognised under UK law.

Under the provisions of the S*xual Offences (Amendment) Act 1992, victims of s*xual offences and child abuse are protected by automatic, lifelong statutory anonymity from the moment an allegation is made. It is a strict criminal offence to publish, broadcast, or disclose any information, name, address, school, or photograph likely to lead members of the public to identify any child victim. These legal restrictions apply unconditionally across all print and broadcast journalism, online publications, and social media platforms.

On 25 August 2026, Fox formally admitted the charges against him, pleading guilty to two counts of distributing indecent images of children and three counts of making indecent images of children. The legal classification of "making" covers downloading, retrieving, and opening illicit files on a digital device.

Appearing at Wi******er Crown Court, the presiding judge handed Fox an immediate determinate custodial sentence of two years and four months' imprisonment. Under standard UK sentencing legislation governing determinate prison sentences, Fox will be required to serve at least half of his custodial term in prison before becoming eligible for conditional release on licence under probation supervision.

In addition to the custodial sentence, the court imposed:

A 10-year S*xual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) severely restricting his internet connectivity, device ownership, and software capabilities

Mandatory notification requirements on the S*x Offenders Register for a period of 10 years under the provisions of the S*xual Offences Act 2003

Police Constable Ollie Green of the Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team stated:

"At the centre of every child abuse image is a real child being abused. Some of the images that Fox had in his possession were category A and showed some of the most horrific s*xual violence perpetrated against children. When these images are downloaded, uploaded, or shared amongst users, that creates further demand for this type of material and ultimately will lead to more children being abused. These investigations can be lengthy and complex, and can be some of the most harrowing that any police officer will deal with, but as an investigation team ICAT are dedicated to finding those responsible and bringing them to justice."

🚨RA**ST JAILED FOR 23 YEARS AFTER TELLING VICTIM ‘I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT A RA**ST CAN DO’ DURING BRUTAL ATTACK

A 26-year-old man has been handed a 23-year extended sentence after violently attacking, strangling and repeatedly ra**ng a woman in Chirk.

Jordan Jones, of South View, Chirk, told his victim, “I will show you what a ra**st can do”, during an attack which left her with devastating internal injuries.

North Wales Police said the doctor who treated the woman described her injuries as the worst they had ever seen.

Jones admitted nine offences, including four counts of r**e, two counts of s*xual assault, threats to kill, intentional strangulation and assault.

He was sentenced at Mold Crown Court to 18 years in prison, with a further five-year extended licence period.

Jones will also remain on the S*x Offenders Register indefinitely, while a lifelong restraining order has been imposed to protect the victim.

Police were called after receiving a report of a woman in distress in the Chirk area.

Officers said Jones had attacked and strangled the victim and, when she attempted to get away, dragged her to the floor, threatened to kill her and violently r**ed her.

He had also threatened to kill her earlier that evening.

Jones was found in a nearby car shortly after officers arrived and was arrested.

Investigating officer Detective Constable James Grimwood described Jones as a “truly despicable offender” and said the attack involved sustained and brutal violence.

He said the victim had suffered devastating physical injuries and emotional trauma, while Jones had shown no remorse.

DC Grimwood praised the woman’s “extraordinary courage” and said her bravery had helped ensure Jones would spend a considerable period behind bars.

He also praised the officers who responded to the incident, safeguarded the victim and arrested Jones without delay.

North Wales Police said tackling violence against women and girls remains a major priority and that officers would continue pursuing offenders while supporting victims.

Victims of s*xual offences are entitled to lifelong anonymity under UK law and must not be identified through publication.

21-year-old Bailey Harding has been jailed for s*xual offences against a teenage girl.

Harding, who was 17 when the offending began, abused the victim over a period of 18 months. The victim, a girl known to Harding, was just 14 at the time the abuse began. In January 2024 the victim contacted police and disclosed offences of r**e, s*xual assault, being strangled and being threatened at knifepoint. Harding was swiftly arrested, and during a subsequent search of his room two large zombie-style knives were found and seized. In interview he denied all accusations, and claimed the victim was making malicious allegations against him.

Following a trial in July, he was convicted of:
• One count of r**e
• Three counts of engaging in penetrative s*xual activity with a girl aged 13-15
• One count of intentional strangulation
• One count of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a private place
• Controlling and coercive behaviour

On Friday, 25 September Harding, (26/03/2005), of Bookham, was jailed for four years and six months at Chichester Crown Court. He was also issued a seven-year restraining order and a S*xual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

The victim is now an adult, but the effects of Harding’s abuse continue to seep into her life. She said, “I often feel as if I can see him in big crowds or in dark places” and described regularly changing her appearance so he wouldn’t recognise her if she ever saw him in public. She reflects on how he used the fact that he was older and stronger to control her, and how “I felt he was my saviour but ultimately he was my tormentor.” She told the court that “I haven’t slept peacefully in two and half years.”

Investigating officer DC Helen Cridge said, “I would like to recognise the victim’s remarkable courage in coming forward while she was still an extremely vulnerable child. Her strength and determination have been inspiring, and her actions have played a vital role in securing this result. I hope her bravery gives others experiencing abuse the confidence to come forward, knowing that they will be listened to and that they are not alone.”

Urging others experiencing similar offences to come forward the victim said, “I know how hard it can be to speak about something that has happened to you, especially when that person has made you feel like you should stay quiet. But please don’t be afraid to speak out. Don’t let anyone make you feel like your voice doesn’t matter, and don’t let anyone take it away from you.”

Martin Norton Doncaster Child S*xual Abuse Conviction

A 32-year-old man who systematically groomed an underage girl on social media before travelling across the country to repeatedly s*xually abuse her in Doncaster hotel rooms has been sentenced to nine years' imprisonment.

Martin Norton, of no fixed address, appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday 29 September 2026 for sentencing after being convicted of serious s*xual offences against a child committed over several months during 2025.

The court heard that Norton first targeted the victim on an online social media platform. He gradually escalated the nature of their conversations, requesting provocative images of the child before coercing and manipulating her into believing that he was her legitimate boyfriend. Having established psychological control, Norton arranged an in-person meeting, during which the survivor disclosed that he forced her to engage in s*xual activity immediately upon their first encounter.

Over subsequent weeks, Norton routinely travelled from Newcastle to Doncaster to sustain the illicit relationship. He used coercive tactics, purchasing food, gifts, and treats to maintain his influence over the child. Norton repeatedly booked local hotel rooms to carry out s*xual abuse and forced the vulnerable victim to commit s*xual acts in public locations.

Under the provisions of the S*xual Offences (Amendment) Act 1992, victims of s*xual offences are protected by automatic, lifelong statutory anonymity from the moment an allegation is made. It is a strict criminal offence to publish, broadcast, or disclose any information, name, address, school, or photograph likely to lead members of the public to identify the child victim. These legal restrictions apply unconditionally across all print and broadcast journalism, online publications, and social media platforms.

The abuse was halted in November 2025 when South Yorkshire Police received urgent intelligence and welfare concerns regarding a man taking an underage girl into commercial accommodation. Officers deployed directly to a hotel in Doncaster, entered the room, and arrested Norton on the premises.

In a poignant victim personal statement read to the court, the survivor outlined the profound disruption caused to her everyday life, explaining that Norton's predatory actions had severely damaged her ability to trust others and left her terrified to leave her home alone.

Sentencing Norton at Sheffield Crown Court, the presiding judge handed him an immediate determinate custodial term of nine years' imprisonment. Under current UK statutory sentencing guidelines governing serious s*xual offences carrying sentences of this magnitude, Norton will be required to serve at least two-thirds of his sentence in closed prison custody before becoming eligible to apply to the Parole Board for conditional release on licence under probation supervision.

Alongside the custodial term, the court imposed:

A 25-year S*xual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) severely restricting his internet connectivity, device ownership, and contact with children

A 25-year restraining order prohibiting any contact with the victim

Mandatory lifetime notification requirements on the S*x Offenders Register under the provisions of the S*xual Offences Act 2003

Detective Constable Lauren Harris, the officer in charge of the investigation, commended the survivor's resolve:

"I hope Norton's sentencing brings closure to the young girl who has been at the heart of our investigation. No one should have their childhood stripped and taken from them because of someone’s pervert actions. I want to commend the bravery that the young girl has showed throughout this investigation, her immense courage has ensured Norton will spend a significant amount of time behind bars."

Former world snooker champion jailed after being convicted of historic child s*x abuse offences

AREA: Edinburgh / Glasgow / South Lanarkshire

Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been jailed for seven years after being convicted of historical child s*x abuse offences involving two victims.

The 49-year-old, who won the World Snooker Championship in 2006, was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh on Tuesday after being found guilty of lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour towards a girl and a boy.

The offences took place between 1993 and 1996 in Glasgow and between 2006 and 2010 in South Lanarkshire.

Sentencing Dott, Lord Harrower said he had robbed both victims of “a significant part of their childhood” and described his conduct as bearing “the classic hallmarks of grooming”.

The judge said the abuse involved a gross violation of trust and noted that both victims had been rewarded with gifts or treats, while also being made to feel they would not be believed if they disclosed what had happened.

Referring to the victims by pseudonyms, the court heard that the abuse included penetrative s*xual activity. Lord Harrower said the abuse of the female victim included behaviour that would now be classified as r**e.

During the trial, jurors heard evidence that Dott repeatedly abused the two children over a number of years.

The female victim, now in her 40s, told the court she had been s*xually abused during games and recalled incidents in which Dott behaved inappropriately towards her while she was still of primary school age.

She later confided in a friend, family members and a guidance teacher before reporting the matter to police in 2001. The complaint was revisited decades later following allegations made by the second victim.

The male victim, now in his late 20s, told jurors that Dott expected “nothing but compliance” and described his behaviour as aggressive.

The court heard he was given gifts, snacks and money during the period of abuse, which he described as a form of reward. He said certain products associated with the abuse still trigger traumatic memories.

Dott denied all allegations and told the jury he had “never acted inappropriately towards anybody”. He continues to maintain his innocence.

Defence solicitor advocate Euan Dow told the court that Dott accepted his professional and personal reputation had been destroyed. He said the former player had received threats while in custody and had been moved to a different prison for his own safety.

Lord Harrower said that because Dott continued to deny the offences, the court could not take account of remorse or any demonstrated insight into the harm caused to the victims.

As well as the seven-year prison sentence, Dott was placed on the s*x offenders register indefinitely.

Following his conviction, the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association permanently revoked his membership and he was removed from the World Snooker Tour Hall of Fame.
