Day two of our Anglesey trip started with one of the best nights sleep we've had in Minnie 🚐
Stopped over at the Pilot Boat Inn in Dulas, £10 for the night and properly peaceful. Woke up, had breakfast, and chilled out for a bit.

Once we were finally moving we headed to Melin Llynon, the old windmill near Llanddeusant, for Mr Holt's famous Mônuts. They live up to the hype, and we had a laugh trying on the hats while we were there.
Rounded the trip off with a walk around Penrhyn Castle, the National Trust place near Bangor, lovely grounds.

Not long back home to get ready for a busy week, Craig's off to Glasgow for work and my auntie is down from Scotland, so plenty of family time to look forward to too.

Day one of our Anglesey trip in Minnie 🚐☀️
Kicked off with the strangest breakfast stop yet, Tea Rooms at the Pet Cemetery in Brynford near Holywell. Yes, an actual tea room in a pet cemetery, and the breakfast was spot on.

From there it was over the bridge and onto the island, parked up at Traeth Lligwy for a walk along the Anglesey coastal path to Moelfre. Proper stunning stretch of coast.

Ended up at the Kinmel Arms right on Moelfre Bay for a well earned pint before heading back to Minnie. No idea where we're stopping tonight, could be a park up, a site or a pub car park, we'll decide when we get there. That's half the fun of it.

Buxton, you absolute gem! 💚

We're spending the day in this gorgeous Peak District spa town and what a spot it is. Hopped on the miniature railway through the Pavilion Gardens (never too old for that 😄), had a lovely wander round town soaking up all that old spa-town charm, and now we're tucking into a proper bite in a local pub before we head off to find our campsite at the local Caravan and Camping site.

More updates coming your way, and yes, there's a vlog on the way too. Having a brilliant time already.

Drumroll please... the results are in and we've got two names to share. Say hello to MINNIE the van and HAMISH the coo! 🚐🐮💛

Minnie came from Sue Cooper (suecoo66) and LoulouVanlife, both landing on that lovely link to MiniVentures. And Hamish stormed the coo vote, suggested by Lisa (Lisabushaway20), Helen Priestley, Jency (jency5537), Debs (WitchyDebs) and 66hayles, and it turns out lan_n1cspics and Ian Holton have both got their own coos called Hamish. Clearly the perfect fit!

To everyone who took the time to comment, suggest and vote, thank you so much. We read every single one and laughed our way through loads of them. There were some real gems, and a few we'll never forget (Cliff, your Elsie suggestion, spelling out L and C for Linda and Craig, absolutely made our day).

🌿 Wales, sunshine and a wedding weekend! 💍🏕️

We’ve arrived at Bron Derw Touring Caravan Park near Llanrwst, and what a beautiful spot to settle in for the weekend! 🚐🏔️

Today we headed off for a wander around the stunning Bodnant Garden 🌺🌳. 80 acres of beautiful gardens, woodland, terraces and some seriously impressive views… although after all that walking, we’re now officially experts at sitting down. 😂

Back at the van, we’re enjoying the sunshine, putting our feet up and getting ready for the main event tomorrow…

So tonight it’s relaxation mode… because tomorrow we’ll be swapping walking shoes for wedding clothes! 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

What a day out! We laced up the boots and took on a stretch of the coast to coast today, only a small part of it mind, but a solid 8 miles along a beautiful National Trust nature trail. The views were stunning, and at one point we got completely surrounded by a flock of sheep. No complaints from us.
Managed to grab some cracking drone footage along the way too, so keep an eye out for that in an upcoming video.
We're now sat in the Bryn Arms in Gellilydan, near Blaenau Ffestiniog, treating ourselves to a cold b**r and a proper pizza before heading back to the van. Days like this are exactly why we love doing what we do.

Day two in Benidorm and you lot were in charge 😅
We handed the whole day over to your recommendations and hit the British Quarter: The Lucky Shamrock, Rovers Return, Andy's Simply The Best, Brit Station and Black Chicken, before finishing up at Planta 20 Sky Bar for those unreal evening views 🌅🍻

A few too many, a little bit tipsy, one of the best afternoons we've had in ages.
And this is just one day of it. We're letting you plan the whole trip, so there's plenty more to come. Full vlog on the way ❤️

We took our brand new motorhome to Scotland for the very first time... and Scotland threw everything at us. 🚐
