This Sunday spotted this BMW 5 Series of the last generation at the BMW Show at Santa Pod Raceway in the UK. I would say — the right color for the right car. And in real life it looks even better than in photos. 😀

Sleek, dark, and aggressive — this G60-generation BMW 5 Series stood out from the crowd the moment I saw it. The all-black spec, combined with deep tinted windows and black M Performance wheels, gave it a stealthy yet premium vibe. You could immediately tell — the owner put thought into this build.

The new design language of the 5 Series has been controversial for some, especially the sharp front end and the minimalistic rear lights. But here, in person, everything felt balanced. The bold kidney grilles were not overdone, and the blacked-out details made it look more like a performance executive car than just a luxury saloon. Definitely not your average daily.

Under the hood? Likely a 540i or even the all-electric i5, but I didn’t get a chance to hear it start or catch a badge up close — too many people were already gathered around it, asking the owner questions and taking pictures. The lowered stance, aggressive wheels, and possibly aftermarket suspension made me think this isn’t just about looks. This car might be hiding real power under the hood.

Santa Pod Raceway is usually known for drag events, burnouts, and hardcore builds — but what I loved about this BMW is how it bridged two worlds: it looked show-ready, but also perfectly usable on UK roads. It had that “executive with attitude” energy.

The detailing was next level — from the subtle carbon fiber accents to the carefully maintained paint that seemed to reflect everything around it like a mirror. Even the tire shine was on point. It was one of those builds where nothing screamed for attention, but everything whispered “quality.”

Talking to the crowd around it, I heard different takes: some praised the clean stance, others were asking if it was wrapped or painted, and a few debated if this design is better than the previous F10 or G30 generations. And I get it — BMW fans are passionate. Some love the evolution, others miss the classic lines. But you can’t deny — this car draws eyes
