Let me say it louder for the people in the back: Gluten free isn’t a fad. It’s a lifeline. For many of us, it’s the difference between feeling foggy or clear, bloated or balanced, exhausted or energized. We didn’t “hop on a trend.” We fought for answers when no one listened. If you’ve ever been dismissed, side-eyed, or called dramatic for choosing to protect your body — this one’s for you.Gluten free life can be beautiful, sustainable, and full of flavor.🧡 Tag someone who gets it. Share this if you’re DONE explaining why you eat this way. You deserve support. You deserve to feel good.

When I first went gluten free I felt confused, overwhelmed and honestly… kind of alone.

No one warned me that I would grieve my old favourites. Or that people would say things like ‘just a little bit won’t hurt’

But here’s what I know now:
• it does get easier
• meal prep saves your sanity
• you can feel like yourself again; confident, clean and in control.

If you are starting your gluten free journey or still figuring it out, you don’t have to do it alone.

💚 Tag a friend who needs this reminder today. I see you. I have been you. And I’m here to help.

Hi, I’m Monika, the face behind Gluten Free Made Easy with Mon and I’m your Gluten Free Best Friend 😉

I thought it’s time to get to know each other better 🫶🏻

So today, I wanted to share my gluten free story with you.

My gluten free journey didn’t start because it was a trend…

I was suffering from various symptoms like bloating, stomach cramps, acne, feeling tired, having brain fog, fatigue, mouth ulcers. My GP kept telling me that everything was ok with me, that it was normal to feel like this. I was told just to stop eating gluten. I was feeling ignored, misunderstood and not taken seriously. I didn’t agree with that….

After multiple fights and doctors refusing to test me for coeliac disease or gluten allergy, I decided to seek help privately. Only then I found out that I not only had non coeliac gluten sensitivity but other gut issues as well that left untreated created a domino effect. Even when I gave the results to my GP, I was completely ignored.

My mission is to make everyone on gluten free diet feel understood, safe and included, regardless of the reason.

What’s your story? Why did you start your gluten free journey? Share that in the comments below. It will be lovely to get to know you better 💚
