After building, I hand delivered this table, driving 16 hours to Manhattan, where I met the clients in person for the first time, and showed them their new table… they loved it!!

This table is coming together! The I’m having a lot of fun creating the “twisting” patter with the pedestal base. I think this is going to be one of my favorite tables I’ve made so far!

The journey of custom furniture building is never a boring one! 😅 I used to believe that every piece had to be absolutely perfect with no mistakes.

Although this seemed like a huge mistake, it was actually pretty quick and painless to fix.

Over the years, I’ve realized the mistakes and little imperfections are actually what show the humanity in this art. I believe we as humans are not meant to be perfect, and the more we can share and celebrate all the little mistakes we make, the better off we’re going to be.
