🏰 In Cornwall, the Jacobean mansion Lanhydrock National Trust, once the seat of the Robartes family, is home to a spectacular 17th-century ceiling commissioned by Puritan John Robartes. Now, a painstaking conservation effort is underway to preserve this biblical and mythical artwork.

🖼️ Meanwhile, in Warwickshire, a race against time is taking place at Coughton Court, where project manager Aimee must complete major roof repairs before the return of the house’s protected bat colonies. The Throckmorton family, Catholic loyalists tied to the Gunpowder Plot, still reside here and safeguard rare treasures like the 16th-century Tabula Eliensis. Too large to remove through conventional means, this precious artifact is set to be craned out through the roof!
