People are saying Superman is “too political.”

Which is interesting, because he's literally been punching N***s since 1938, but apparently this time he smiled too hard while doing it.

Some say it’s a step too far. A cape too colourful. A message too... decent?. It’s amazing how uncomfortable a mirror becomes when it doesn’t flatter you.

Superman hasn’t changed. He’s still doing his thing - leaping tall buildings, catching planes - and gently suggesting you might be part of the problem.

But if that’s “woke,” then yes. The sky is indeed falling. And it's wearing tights.
