We recently celebrated our ten year anniversary of Nomographic, a company founded on the common goal of producing exceptional animated content, sustained through friendship.

However, we prefer to not rest on our laurels and today we challenged ourselves by learning new tricks from the exceptional at the offices.

Thanks to all of our loyal clients over the past decade and we're just getting started as we prep for the next 10 years. Stay tuned.

"A mystical guardian awakens from a centuries-old slumber to defend his domain from a pair of unwitting trespassers..."

Such is the description for our latest in-house animation in which we created a medieval English stone 🪨⛏️ quarry protected by a terrifying, yet incompetent, rock golem. It allowed us to explore new techniques whilst refining our 3D production pipeline as bringing characters to life in rich environments🌲⛅ is something we're passionate about here at Nomographic. Self-initiated projects like this also help us to scratch that artistic itch whilst simultaneously improving our workflow for our clients.

Creating a 3D environment from scratch means everything that is seen (and heard) needs to be considered in order to make the scene believable. In the case of Waiter, the art direction, lighting and animation all play a part in setting the mood whilst the audio contributes to the emotion and describes off-screen action.
