THE URGENT NEED TO RESTRUCTURE NIGERIA

Believing that Nigeria will succeed after 100 years of amalgamation is unrealistic. If Nigerians are specific, there is a need to reorganise Nigeria. Many stakeholders in Southern Nigeria believe there is a strong need to reorganise Nigeria to address issues like economic stagnation, resource control and mismanagement, and political over-centralisation. However, a few others in the North argue it is unnecessary.

Proponents such as Chief Emeka Anyaoku and the Eminent Groups argue that restructuring would decentralise authority, allowing regions to manage their own resources and promoting more effective governance and development. Conversely, opponents like Vice President Kashim Shettima contend that fulfilling campaign promises and improving good governance are the proper solutions. In this video podcast, Frank Bello in London highlighted the urgent “NEED” expressed by Chief Emeka Anyaoku for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to begin the process of restoring Nigeria to the 1960 to 1963 Federal Constitution and Regional Configuration.

NIGERIA AT 65:

The exodus to foreign universities abroad.
As Nigeria's historic university buildings face neglect by ruthless politicians, there is a rising wave of criticism against top Nigerian politicians who have, over the years, prioritised foreign education for their children while the country’s public tertiary institutions suffer from chronic underfunding, strikes, and systemic neglect.

From the Presidency to state governors and lawmakers, several public office holders have taken to social media to share photos from their children’s graduation ceremonies in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada, often during periods when Nigerian students were stranded at home due to industrial action. In this video podcast, Frank Bello and the team at NuMedia TV in London showcased 20 of such politicians.

NIGERIA: NORTHERN AREWA VERSUS SOUTHERN REPUBLICS

Years of Northern Nigeria Governing Nigeria versus Southern Nigeria.
Northern and Southern Nigeria exhibit notable differences in regional diversity, disparity, political violence, and victimisation. The inter-regional intimidations, ethnoreligious polarisation, and political violence that emerged in the early years after the country’s independence—partly leading to the first coup and counter-coup in 1966—will never be forgotten.

In this video presentation, you will see events that transpired over the last sixty-five (65) years between Northern Nigeria, often referred to as "the poor beggar Husband," that has produced ten heads of state, who ruled Nigeria for a total of forty-six years (46) and six (6) months, leaving the wealthier Southern Nigeria, called "the rich Southern wife," with six (6) heads of state, who ruled for a total of nineteen (19) years.
