I have to be honest…

I’m having one of the most overwhelming Septembers of my life.

It’s already been nearly a month that I’ve been engaged, and since then, a whole flurry of to-dos and obligations have suddenly appeared…

And I’m barely staying afloat 😂

Between making my usual content, paid work, traveling to Somerset this weekend, wedding planning, my changing visa, an ongoing lawsuit, and trying to not go entirely insane…

I am knackered 😮‍💨

I really strive to post at least daily videos for you guys to enjoy…

But alas, I admit that I’m inching dangerously close to my limits. Might be a few days before I can get back to regular posts.

And I kindly ask for your patience while I manage some of that life admin and get back on track 🙏

I truly enjoy sharing my life, and all of the things going on in it with you all.

I have a lot of updates for you regarding some of the things I mentioned earlier, along with some very exciting announcements that I just know you will enjoy very much!

However you found your way to this page, just know that I really appreciate you for following my journey here to the UK, and caring about it even a little bit.

And to everyone here who’s been cheering on this American trying to make it in your country…thanks for being a great neighbour! 😁

Something I really love doing for my fiancée is…

buying her flowers. Kind of basic, I know.

Walking home carrying them always makes me look like I’ve got some explaining to do though 😂

She never expects them, which makes me love doing it even more. Seeing her face when she realises they’re for her…I’d happily spend that money again and again.

Especially now that we’re getting married, I want to keep her reminded that I love her and am so very lucky to be with her.

I want to be years into being her husband and still doing the things that made her happy when I was her boyfriend…

Dear lord, I really am soppy fellow.

Someone tell me to get a grip! 🤣

Say hi to Matey, the local pub cat I pass on my morning runs 🐈❤️

I do love a pub animal.

There’s something about a cat or dog making themselves at home that makes the whole place feel more welcoming.

Little things like that are a big part of why I love pubs here ❤️

I’ve been getting messages like this every day for the past several days.

Enough.

A large influencer boasted about standing on moral high ground when their actions tell a different story, and I called it out.

Some folks didn’t like that.

If someone presents themselves one way publicly while their actions tell a different story, you’re allowed to point that out. Having a large audience doesn’t make anyone immune from criticism.

You can think I was wrong. You can disagree with me. That’s fair.

What isn’t fair is turning that disagreement into abuse, personal attacks and harassment.

To everyone who has supported me for speaking up, genuinely, thank you.

More than anything, I hope people take this as a reminder to pay attention to what people do, not just what they say about themselves. Actions speak louder than words.

This is the last time I’m talking about it. Please stop harassing me for speaking up about something I believed was wrong.

Right, I’ve exhausted my annual allowance of serious posts. Back to the fun stuff 😂

New YouTube video is up tonight…and this one features the beautiful Lottie ❤️

We finally sat down together to compare notes on all the things we still find strange about each other’s countries 😂

The little British things that make absolutely no sense to me…the American things she cannot get her head around…

and a fair bit of “WHY do you lot do that?” from both sides 😆

This was a really fun one to film!

Mostly because living around each other has only given us MORE questions 😅😂

Off to Somerset for the first time next week…

So I finally watched Hot Fuzz as preparation. That counts as research, right? 😂

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it’s reminded me why I love British humour so much. Lottie and I were howling the entire time.

However, it’s got me wondering…should I be excited to visit Wells or will I just be suspicious of everyone who lives there? 👀🤣
