🚀 Launched via its TwentyForty innovation platform, Welch Group hosted the inaugural 12 Pillars of Change meeting at its Duxford site.

The event saw 12 industry leaders come together to discuss what an industry-led roadmap for freight decarbonisation could look like. Ahead of the 2040 ban on the sale of new fossil fuel-powered trucks and just 15 years until we get there, the group was keen to put their heads together to work out the necessary steps between now and then.

Waste management and recycling specialist Collard Group has reported a dramatic reduction in tyre failures since switching to Continental’s ContiLifeCycle retreads.

Tomsetts Distribution has replaced six older Volvo FHs with new FH Aero 6x2 Globetrotter XL tractor units.

🤝 Supplied by Lewis Davies, sales executive at MC Truck and Bus, the vehicles will cover up to 160,000km annually working on local pallet distribution and overnight trunking to the Palletforce distribution hub in Burton-on-Trent.
