One of this year’s shortlisted apprentices, Lexi Sawyer (Technician Apprentice), perfectly captures the passion and pride behind the role:

Celtic international freight limited transported 1,475 D-Day silhouettes from Waddesdon Manor to Normandy.

The four-truck convoy was supported by volunteers, veterans and a 300-strong motorcycle es**rt. A crowd gathered in their hundreds lining the roads with flags and quiet anticipation. Read more about this special day in this weeks issue of CM.

⚡️A Volvo Trucks FM Electric has been used to transport the first load of low-carbon steel to arrive in the UK, as part of a zero-tailpipe emission delivery for Swedish steelmaker SSAB.
