One of the hardest lessons a woman learns is this:

You cannot convince someone to value what they have already chosen to overlook.

You can love harder.
Explain yourself better.
Be more patient.
Forgive one more time.

But none of those things can make someone appreciate a heart they keep taking for granted.

The day you stop chasing love and start choosing peace is the day your healing truly begins.

Not because the pain disappears…

But because you finally realise that your heart deserves to be safe, not constantly tested.
