📉 UK wage growth has slowed to a three-year low, while unemployment has climbed to 4.7%, the highest in four years.

According to the Office for National Statistics, average earnings excluding bonuses grew by 4.8% in the three months to July. After inflation, that leaves real regular pay only about 1% higher than a year ago.
