Finding the Best Steakhouse in London - Episode 1
uk Paddington. Underground. Arched stone walls and a setting that makes you feel like you are dining somewhere completely unique. Because you are.

Asian fusion meets premium halal steak beneath the streets of London. This is Meet Bros. And Episode 1 of the steakhouse series could not have started in a better place.

Four small plates to start - the Steak Sando with Australian Striploin, Truffle Mayo, Fish Roe and Korean BBQ Sauce on a brioche bun was the best thing I ate all night. The Asian Prawn Crostini was not far behind.

Middle course - Lamb Shank with Parisian Mash and Miso Eggplant, Lobster Pesto Fettuccine with Lobster Tail and Pine Nuts, and Wagyu Fried Rice. Every single plate delivered.

Then the steaks. Premium Grassfed Ribeye with peppercorn sauce and Fillet Mignon with Chimichurri Butter and Mushroom Ragout. The Ribeye was the one.

Steak Sando £22.95 | Spring Rolls £12.95 | Asian Prawn Crostini £13.45 | White Prawns £16.45 | Lamb Shank £35.45 | Lobster Pesto Fettuccine £39.95 | Wagyu Fried Rice £39.95 | Ribeye £33.95 | Fillet Mignon £42.95

One of the most unique dining experiences in London. Go and experience it for yourself.

UK’s favourite loaded fries just opened in the City 🔥

third London location now open on Middlesex Street, right opposite Liverpool Street Station. And they came to make noise.

Freshly cut potatoes poured straight into their custom cutting machine in front of you. Imported cheese from Culiacan, Mexico. 🇲🇽

Signature sauces. Crispy onions. Seasoning done Salt Bae style. Every single portion built to order and loaded to the top.

I had the nacho fries and the cheesy chicken fries and both of them were on another level. That cheese pull does not lie. 🔥

What makes Funky Chips different - they are changing their menu every three months so there is always something new to come back for. Built for students, workers and anyone passing through Liverpool Street.

Camden was just the beginning. The City is next. Go and be part of it from day one and help make this location as busy as it deserves to be 🙏

Middlesex Street. Opposite Liverpool Street Station. Go and find them 🔥

Finding The Best Taco’s in London - Episode 1
outt Tottenham, North London. A mother and son who took over a cafe space in the evenings and built something worth talking about.

Mum’s Katsu Roll with house sauce - really impressive start.
Birria tacos with consommé - the star of the show and honestly one of the best tacos I have had recently. The consommé takes it to a completely different level.
Smoked Juicy Lucy lamb burger - cheese inside the patty itself, a brilliant concept and one for the cheese lovers. And beef birria loaded fries to finish — the birria flavour running through everything.

And tonight I was invited down as part of - a London community bringing food creators together to connect, collaborate and support independent restaurants like this one. Nights like these are what make the food scene in London so special. Go and check them out if you are a creator.

Smok’d Outt. Tottenham. Go and support a real independent built on passion and late nights. They deserve every bit of it.

Where has the best Taco’s in London that I need to visit next?

Finding the Best Korean Food in London - Episode 1 🔥

East London. A ghost kitchen with a story worth telling.
The owner is a mum of three who left the North East, chose Bow and built this from nothing. Korean inspired food made fresh every day with bold flavours and quality ingredients - because she refuses to let fast food mean average food. Even the artwork outside was handmade by her sister. Every single detail personal and intentional.

Beef brisket bibimbap, meal deal platter with buldak mayo wings, kimchi fries loaded with melted cheese and beef brisket, dynamite prawn tempura bao bun, mini corn dog and a half cheese half sausage potato corn dog. Halal.

The cheese pull on that corn dog alone is worth the trip. But the beef brisket bibimbap - that is the star of the show. The one I will be coming back for.

This is only the beginning for Bibimbop Bow.

Go and support a real East London independent built by someone who genuinely cares. 🙏

Five years chasing one title. Best burger in Paris.

on Rue Mouffetard is doing things properly. Flame grilled Angus beef, Somerset cheddar aged up to nine months, artisan pastrami, and buns delivered fresh every morning. Tried the New Yorker, the Italian Summer, and the Classic, plus the burrata and pastrami starter and three desserts to finish.

Nearly 2,750 Google reviews at 4.8 stars, and now I get why.

72 Hours in Paris - Episode 3 🇫🇷

Our hotel for the trip and honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have had on a city break. - fully renovated in 2025 and every single detail shows it.

From the moment you walk through the door the atmosphere hits you differently. Nature meets design in every corner - a calming, immersive environment that does not feel like a typical Paris hotel at all. The downstairs alone is stunning. A beautiful seating area, a conservatory style roof, an outdoor terrace perfect for morning coffee, and a self serve station with fresh lemon water and hot drinks available throughout the day.

The room was confirmed by the staff as the best in the hotel and I believe every word of it. Sofa area, desk, long mirror, a view directly onto the terrace and a bathroom that was spotless and beautifully laid out. Genuinely one of the most aesthetically pleasing hotel rooms I have stayed in anywhere.

What really stood out was the personal touch. A handwritten card was waiting in the room welcoming me to Paris with French food recommendations on the back - little illustrations of French dishes they thought I should try as a food reviewer. When I tagged them on Instagram they reposted and wrote “the king of culinary food reviews has arrived.” That kind of attention to detail and genuine warmth is rare and it made the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional.

The wellness area is small but beautifully finished - cardio machines, towels, fresh drinks and a sauna to finish. After a full day exploring Paris walking into that sauna felt like the best decision I made all trip.

Located between Montmartre and the Opera district - close to the Moulin Rouge and all the best spots Paris has to offer but tucked away enough to feel like a genuine retreat from the city.

3 nights - £695. Worth every single penny.

If you are planning a Paris trip this is the one.

📍3 Rue du Cardinal Mercier, 75009 Paris.

London’s hottest new opening, hidden inside a hotel

tucked away inside in Marylebone, and this one’s a proper find. Cosy, intimate, and seriously well put together.

The setup here is different. There’s a library area where you can sit with drinks and small bites, a bar that’s got a real premium feel to it, and an outdoor terrace that’s perfect for summer, and you can actually have a full meal out there too, not just drinks. The whole place has that quiet, upscale feel where you instantly want to stay longer.

But what really stood out was the service. The staff were spot on. Attentive, accommodating, and genuinely looked after us the whole way through without ever being over the top. That kind of service makes a real difference and it’s what takes a place from good to somewhere you actually want to go back to.

And the food more than backed it up. Every plate delivered.

What we had:
Crispy potato pavé, herb aioli
Sourdough, whipped thyme brown butter
Seabass tataki, roasted garlic ponzu, spring onion
Tiger prawn tagliolini, bisque, chives
Seasonal mushroom risotto, soft herbs, aged balsamic, and get the black truffle added, worth every penny
Pesto creste di gallo, pine nuts, san marzano velouté
Chicken alla diavola, romano peppers
Chicken milanese, parsley and roasted garlic aioli, rocket
Triple cooked chips, oregano, sea salt
Roast potatoes, rosemary
Dark chocolate namelaka, sea salt, hazelnut crunch, a serious way to finish

Standouts for me: the mushroom risotto with truffle, the seabass tataki, and that dark chocolate namelaka to finish.

If you’re after somewhere new in London this summer, this one needs to be on your list.

The location, the setting, the service and the food all lined up.
