Westminster Cathedral is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales, located in Victoria, central London.
In the heart of London stands a masterpiece of faith and architecture—Westminster Cathedral. Not to be confused with the Abbey, this is the mother church of Roman Catholicism in England and Wales.
Completed in 1903, it was designed by John Francis Bentley in a rare neo-Byzantine style, with red-and-white brickwork that commands attention. Step inside and you’re greeted by soaring domes, marble columns, and glittering mosaics—some still unfinished, reminding us that even beauty is a work in progress.
Its bell tower, St Edward’s Tower, rises nearly 90 meters. From the top, you can see across the London skyline—a powerful view that lifts your spirit as much as your eyes.
Westminster Cathedral is more than a building. It’s a living place of worship, hope, and harmony, where silence speaks and architecture prays.
In a city that never stops moving, this place invites you to pause… reflect… and rise.
