IX(B) Sqn spent an afternoon at Anderson's Care Home in Elgin this week.

They thoroughly enjoyed meeting the residents and having a Christmas singalong with children from Seafield Primary School, who were also there visiting. There was even some dancing! Thankyou for hosting us and to all involved in making this a fun-filled event.

We were delighted to welcome the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, and his Norwegian counterpart, Mr Jonas Støre, to the station yesterday.

They had a tour around a Poseidon aircraft, watched a practice Quick Reaction Alert scramble and met UK and Norwegian service personnel and their families.

Both PMs thanked personnel for their service, with a special shout out to those that will be working over the festive period.

Grinch be gone! We are getting into the festive spirit here at Lossie as our personnel, family, friends, and local businesses have come together for the annual Station Christmas Fayre.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the event’s success. After such a busy year for our personnel, it is important that they have time together to celebrate with their families.

Our deployed parcels are ready to go! 😍

Over the festive season many of our personnel will be deployed overseas, and the Community Support Team have been busy making sure they will feel the festive spirit no matter where they are 🎄

Panto was part 1 of our Team Lossie festive countdown with part 2 taking place today.... Xmas parcels for everyone deployed over the period!

Big thank yous to both the Officers & WO & SNCO Mess, the Junior Ranks Welfare Fund and our local RAFA branch for kindly sponsoring this activity.

Each was packed by a team of special elves and we got 180 parcels done in a record 28 minutes 🥳

Let us know when these arrive in the respective theatres! Now to get set up for part 3, wreath making taking place tonight 🙌🏻

Congratulations to Air Recruit (AR) Hannaford on her attestation into Covesea Flight, RAF Lossiemouth.

She is the first direct entrant to attest into Covesea Flight and marks the expansion of the flight to include a variety of roles for individuals with no prior military experience.
