Hello everyone,

Jamie here! 👋

Some of you will know me as one half of Paranormal TRuth along with the much prettier half that's my wife Ruth!

Normally we like to bring an upbeat feel to our page and the things we get up in our Paranormal adventures, but over the Halloween season I’m asking for your support to help raise awareness of a great little local charity that helps so many people cope in their darkest times.

Some of you will be aware that Ruth, at the start of the year, found out that a supposed trapped nerve in her Neck. Had been a reoccurrence of her Breast Cancer.

Within a week she had an emergency 9-hour lifesaving operation. After a short recovery from the operation Ruth began further treatment. Initially Radiotherapy and then 18 weeks of Chemotherapy.

Over that time the Team at Barnsley’s Chemo Ward 24 have been amazing to Ruth during her treatment.

During which they made us aware of a Barnsley Charity called - Little Fox’s Charity. Little Fox's

This Charity looks to help Cancer patients cope with day to day living by assisting with the following:
Financial Support: Helps individuals and families with limited income after a cancer diagnosis.
Practical Aid: Provides funds for utility bills, shopping vouchers, wigs, holidays, and complimentary therapies.
Hospital Support: Often raises funds to benefit local cancer and chemotherapy care, such as Ward 24 at Barnsley Hospital.

As you know, in our spare time Ruth and I do Paranormal Investigating. We've been doing this for several years now and really enjoy visiting locations that have a haunted History and meeting new people along the way. With so many we can call friends 👻🫶

We normally fear things that go bump in the night; however, nothing paralyses you like the words “Its Cancer”.

Because of this I’ll be standing alone in the dark in a Haunted building for 24 hours to help raise awareness of a charity that looks to ensure local patients have the light of support in their darkest hours.

Therefore On the 22nd of November I’ll be doing a 24 Hours Lone Vigil at The renowned Haunted Priest Cottage in Leeds. The Priest's Cottage It's one of UK's well-known locations for high Paranormal activity of things that go bump in the night!

The Paranormal can be Scary…. But life can be also!

Recently we visited St Theobalds Church ruins in Great Hautbois near Coltishall in Norfolk.
St Theobalds was a former church during the medieval period. It was a place of pilgrimage to a shrine of St Theobald. The church remained in use until they built in the 19th century. St Theobalds is a round tower church. It is a grade 2 listed building and a scheduled monument.
St Theobalds was built in the 11th century and is made of knapped flint and flint rubble. There was originally an aisleless nave and chancel. The round tower was built in the 12th century. In the 13th century they extended chancel and added a south transept to house the image of St Theobald. The south aisle was built in the 14th century and is thought to o have accommodated the pilgrims, a porch was added in the 15th century.
The hospital of St Mary's was associated with the church, for the pilgrims to the church. After the dissolution of the monasteries the church was longer regarded as a place of pilgrimage.
St Theobalds is reported to be Haunted by spirits of medieval pilgrims, phantom mist and disembodied voices. Also there is said to be the spirit of a priest who guards the church and a man in a trilby hat wearing a old style suit. He was thought to have died in a traffic accident. St Theobalds is steeped in local folklore with tales f hidden golden gates, a cursed wooden legged witch, phantom monks and late night pagan rituals.
