So we moved out of Kessingland a week ago to pastures new which meant digging everything out ready for storage. We're currently waiting for the new super shed to arrive so the bikes only saw the light of day briefly. It wasn't until I got them out of the old shed I realised just how long it's been since I've ridden them. The tourer hasn't had a spin in two years and the hardtail hasn't seen any action in two and a half, August 2022 to be exact. I had to sit down and take it in, it certainly hadn't felt that long, but then time fay's especially as you get older.

One thing I did know, with physio going well and hopefully getting back in the pool sometime in April it won't be another two years before there both ridden again, something I'm very much looking forward too.

If you'd like to be involved and share your story I'd be more then greatful.

I'm looking for people who have a similar health story to mine who'd be happy to discuss it informally over a coffee maybe. I'd want to use the footage or audio taken to use in the documentary, which would be the backbone of the film.

If like me you've had an injury or illness that's had a detrimental effect on the outdoor activities you enjoy and then overcome them I'd love to know.

Please DM me here or on my account I'd really appreciate your time

Many thanks

Aaron

So on Monday after nearly two years I finally got back to one of my favourite bolt holes with Old Man Whithers, Dunwich Woods. It's been a mission I've wanted to complete for ages, it's only a short walk but it was so worth it and it's made my week.

We took plenty of time taking in the wild life which also gives Dad time to run through and repeat his repertoire of dad jokes and anecdotes. I wouldn't of missed it for the world and it's another step closer to better health.

So this is Little Victories, roughly.....

I wanted to try and explain the premise behind the project as I realised I hadn't donena proper job in my earlier posts. Hopefully this will make more sense and you guys will have a better understanding of what I'm hoping to achieve.

So far it's been about making sure I've filmed everything in depth regarding my time in hospital and the following six weeks including the use of the additional assistant I've had in my house. Plus trying to secure funding, apply and complete relevant film and editing courses, speaking to people who might interested in helping or just give advice and gaining support from potential backers. As well as keep.up with the social media side hear on YouTube and Facebook, I've not been bored that's for sure. For the moment as this is a slow burn project everything seems to be going in the right direction.

If you'd like to be involved please DM me I need as much help as possible, I'd like to hear from people especially if they've had or had long-term physical or mental health issues who are willing to do a piece to camera about their story.

With new year now another memory I thought I'd post some memories from previous new years, specifically design work I'd done for promoters (back in the day). Here's a couple of logos I designed for a friend who put on a couple of different nights. There's also the beginnings of one flyer which includes an original shot from a photoshoot I did with testing their then digital medium format camera and software. These are all roughly from the 2005 to 2008 period. The Vlab image was for a VJ partnership I was involved in with my friend Scott which we did for several years, mostly for the local party scene. I think we had a good reputation for producing good solid visuals, there wasn't many weekends during that time that we weren't busy or had been asked to perform. I still do it now if it didn't mean ruining the rest of your weekend lol.

Obviously this is all before the advent of AI so all meticulously designed in over many hours and probably some of my best work. I used to really enjoy putting these together especially with an open brief, something I plan to get back into over the coming years. More for my own pleasure producing pieces that I might mount and sell maybe rather than for a commercial market. Far less stress...
