Jamie's Adventures I am an outdoor LOVER! I love getting out on the water or in the countryside and mountains. It also gives me great knowledge when on lifestyle creative projects.

Being an outdoor adventure enthusiast, and getting into nature as much as possible, helps my creative mind. Even though this isn’t my main occupation, I thought it important to add this to my site to show this side of my life. Being in the mountains and in nature capturing content greatly helps when you also have the clothing gear and terrain knowledge to do the job. However, I am in progress of gaining more professional experience and working through Mountain Training qualifications. More info on that to come. It also relieves stress on high pressure creative jobs. Having a balance between the digital world and the natural world, makes me who I am.

Day 2 & 3 on the Laugavegur Trail

The next couple of days were tough! Mainly due to the weather changing to 35mph winds and rain. But also because we decided to do two legs in one day, so we could have a decent day of rest when we got to the end.

Up and down, up and down, the terrain was undulating what felt like forever.

But we finally finished and arrived at Thorsmork (volcano huts) to have a well earned day off!

Laugavegur Trail - Day 1

After a very cool off road bus ride, we made it to the start of the trail. Weather is beautiful, almost a bit too hot actually. Then the assent begins, all the way up to around 1100m where to camped for the night.

The views are absolutely stunning!

Weekend off and then a bit more on the water stuff next week with another couple.
