35 years ago today on WWF Superstars of Wrestling, one of the most memorable moments of the early 90s took place on The Funeral Parlor!

The Ultimate Warrior was the guest, with Paul Bearer presenting a casket “designed” for Warrior’s massive physique. Warrior talked about destiny and survival, refusing to rest in peace.
The Undertaker emerged from a tomb set piece and launched an attack from behind.

After a sustained beatdown, Undertaker smashed Warrior with the urn and stuffed him into the casket. Despite Warrior desperately trying to hold it open, Bearer locked it shut as Undertaker pressed down on the lid.

What followed was chaos. Officials and agents rushed out trying to pry the casket open. When they couldn’t, they drilled holes to get Warrior air before finally breaking it open. Warrior was pulled out unconscious and given CPR as Vince McMahon frantically called for help. After tense moments, Warrior began coughing and showing signs of life as he was taken to the back.

It was an unforgettable segment that launched the Warrior vs. Undertaker feud.

New World Tag Team Champions (again), The Uso's.

As much as I love the Uso's, they're probably my favourite tag team of recent times, this is backwards booking by WWE.

Why take the titles off of a perfectly good combination of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee only to give it to a team who are already the record holders of said belts. The Uso's have nowhere else to go with this reign. They've already split up and faced each other too. The Uso's are above a reign, at this stage of their careers, they should either be going solo or putting newer teams over.

But, given WWE's position on tag team wrestling in general over the last few years, I am not surprised they have chosen to rinse and repeat.

I just hope Becky Lynch doesn't become Women's IC champion again next week, because she doesn't need that belt, at this moment in time, Maxxine does.
