Forres Mechanics can confirm that Jordan Alonge has completed a move to Inverness Caledonian Thistle subject to S.F.A approval.

A popular figure in the dressing room and the stands, Jordan had a standout campaign since joining us in September.

A string of impressive performances with goals in our wins against Banks O’Dee and Brechin saw Jordan nab 14 goals across the season.

With almost as many Man of the Match awards, Jordan also took home both the Jocky McLaren Memorial Trophy and the Cans Player of the Year trophy.

Thanking him for his efforts, manager Steven MacDonald said:

“Jordan is a model professional and a great person. He's very modest but also has great belief in himself and he really deserves the opportunity to test himself in the Scottish league.

“We are grateful for having Jordan at Forres, even if it was only for a short period and we'll be eagerly following his progress at ICT.”

Whilst we are disappointed to see Jordan leave, the club is delighted to see him make the progression into full-time professional football.

Jordan leaves with nothing but the best wishes from everyone at the club and we hope to see him in the stands for a game at Mosset Park in the future.
