Sunday mood… 💖✨
How are you spending your Sunday? I’ve been trying to make my Sundays as screen free as possible. A hot bath, a cuppa and a good magazine is the perfect way to spend some time.

I’m not going to lie my social media addiction has been out of hand for the last five or so years so being able to put my phone down for hours at a time is a big achievement for that I’ve been working towards the last six months!

Put the passion back! 💖
I chat with many small business owners that feel drained, and are constantly trying to ‘crack the algorithm. Which takes time away from their real passion, their business. Yes, analytics matter, but so does creativity, authenticity, and passion. Social media should be a tool to connect and showcase yourself, your brand and your story. It’s not just a numbers game. Engagement is great, but real impact goes beyond likes and follows. It’s time to start normalising content that feels good to create and works for your business. Hands up if you agree! 🙌

It’s time to re-rewind 2025! ⏳✨
Hands up if January didn’t quite go to plan… Because same! I kicked off the year with what felt like the world’s worst flu, so my ‘New Year, New Me’ goals unfortunately went straight out the window.

But here’s the thing—setbacks happen, especially in business. And when we fall down (quite literally at one point) we have to get back up again. Luckily last week I was able to visit my friends in Lanzarte for a spot of remote working and dog sitting where I was able to get some much needed vitamin D and sunshine!

Now I’m updating my to do list and getting ready to start 2025 (again) with a bang.

Movie Gen, is it all hype? ✨🎥
Instagram is levelling up its offerings in 2025 with a new AI-powered video editing tool called “Movie Gen.” With just a text prompt, we will be able to change video backgrounds, outfits, and apparently lots more. But will this really be of use for small business owners? I’m waiting to see!

What are your thoughts on Instagram introducing more AI?
