I recently visited a friend who had been through a difficult break-up and moved house.

The housewarming gift we gave her was a print with the words "What's the best that could happen?"

As coaches, we're familiar with the question "What's the worst that could happen?" - a tool we often use to help clients face their fears.

But "What's the BEST that could happen?" flips the script completely.

I've changed my mindset to this approach with my Instagram strategy and it's been transformative.

When I post content now, instead of worrying "What if no one engages?" I ask myself "What if the perfect client sees this and gets in touch?"

That's the magic of consistent, strategic content - you never know who's watching, who needs your message today, or who will be ready for your help tomorrow.

So next time you hesitate before posting, try asking yourself: "What's the best that could happen?"

How to Create Your B-Roll Video Bank in Under 60 Minutes Using Your Phone 📱

Tired of staring at a blank screen wondering what to film for your Reels? B-Roll videos are by far the easiest type of Reel to create once you've got a bank of video clips saved on your phone!

Here's the exact system I use to build my B-roll video library in under 60 minutes - giving me weeks of footage so that I can post consistently on Instagram:

STEP 1: SET UP (10 mins)

Find a spot with natural light, clear any clutter, and set up your phone on a stable surface (a stack of books works!).

STEP 2: WALKING/MOVEMENT (10 mins)

Film yourself:

• Walking towards/away from camera
• Walking past camera (both directions)
• Turning to face camera
• Leaning in toward the camera (creates engagement/intimacy)

STEP 3: DESK/WORKSPACE (10 mins)

Capture:

• Typing on laptop
• Writing in notebook
• Organising papers/materials
• Scrolling on your phone/computer
• Talking to the screen (as if you're on a coaching call - even better if you are!)

STEP 4: HAND GESTURES (10 mins)

Record:

• Pointing (up, down, to sides)
• Counting on fingers
• Hand-to-face thoughtful pose
• "Stop" gesture
• Waving

Tip: Make sure you leave some negative space above or to the side ready for your text hook!

STEP 5: EVERYDAY ACTIONS (10 mins)

Film yourself:

• Drinking coffee/water
• Opening door/entering room
• Reading a book
• Going for a run/working out
• Playing with your kids/dog
• Preparing food or making a drink

→ Don't forget to save your videos to a B-ROLL folder on your phone (otherwise you'll waste hours looking for them when you need them!

Once you've built this B-roll bank, you can create Reels in minutes without having to film new footage every time.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stared at a blank screen, waiting for the perfect idea to strike. Or held off posting something because it wasn’t quite there yet. Sound familiar?
