1985 to date - that's 40 years+ and we're selling off our stock... some of it in bumper packs we've called BUNDLE & SAVE.... ideal for re-sale if you like, or to gift to your friends as their birthdays and other special events in 2026 and beyond require you to find a little present.
However, when it's gone, it's gone - unrepeatable, never to be seen again here!
Here's an update about us since when it all began ...
History of The LLBC by Charlotte Carver, Owner and Founder of The Little Leather Box Company
1985 - Dainty Freshwater Pearls from friends in the Far East prove popular at work
1989 - My first ‘Upstairs Downstairs Sale’ at home in Chiswick
1989-1990 - A few of us stallholders band together to form The Charity Fairs Association
1990 - I rebrand as Scheherazade classic and colourful jewellery & leathergoods
1995 - Bill retires as London lawyer and we move back to his native Worcestershire (that's OK, I was a Warwickshire lass)
2010 - Scheherazade rebrands as The Little Leather Box Company (thanks to and )
2010 - 2018 - Charity fairs and house sales as event organiser, stallholder + mail order
2010 to date - always helping people to get their present panic sorted!
2026 - Now 40 years on and we plan to do more painting and gardening and selling off our stock.
So - as I've said before - when it's gone, it's gone - i.e. no more leather boxes bar a few named uniquely named Ex-display Samples.
But we do still have some smart sterling silver cufflinks and dainty freshwater pearls, also handmade leather wallets which can be personalised.
