Test day today at Hooton Park circuit. Mixed conditions meant I got a few sessions on slicks. Great lessons to take away. Didn't quite get a new PB today, but times were alot more consistent. Even got my dad on track today 🥳 Already counting down to being back on track. Thanks to the TeamKarting bunch for all their support and help keeping the karts running, always appreciated!

🏁🏁 Round 6 Race Report 🏁🏁

Race night was fantastic!!! Really happy to come away with another clean sweep!

Results:
Qualifying = P1
Heat 1 = P1
Heat 2 = P1
'A' final = P1
Fastest laps each time.

Qualifying
Drew kart 12 which I was happy with. The pace was there from the off, and I managed to secure quickest lap to secure pole position for Heat 1. 🥳

Heat 1
Again, pace was there and a quick launch left me out infront for the whole race. Gap of 15 seconds ahead secured P1. Solid heat secured strong points. 💪

Heat 2
With Olly Mills usually managing to get past me on the first corner, I knew my launch had to be spot on. I managed to keep my position and get out infront. Started out P1 and held my position to finish P1. This set me up for P2 in the 'A' final behind Oliver Whatmough. Another strong race with a 14 second gap behind me.

'A' final.
I drew Kart 14 for the final, which has been running well recently, so I was happy with that! P2 meant it once again had to be a quick launch. I managed to get past P1 on the first corner, but after a few minutes and an early incident the race was restarted from the grid. Nerves were wrecked, but had to go again. Luckily managed to get away again and held my position, P2 and P3 were having their own battle which allowed me to get a good distance and finish overall P1!!

Quickest lap times on all goes out just finished the night for me 😁

Another 50 points earned which means I'm sitting just 2️⃣8️⃣ points behind the leader. I'm confident going into round 7 that I can close that gap.

A great couple of days over at Three Sisters Circuit completing my Arks modules. Bronze, silver and gold all PASSED. Next up is the test 👍👌🏁🏎 brilliant track and very well organised 🙌🙌
