Now let's talk about mothers who don't want visitors after giving birth 🙈
When I had Baby Uloaku, everyone wanted to come see her immediately and I understand—it comes from love ❤️
But honestly? I was exhausted, emotional, trying to recover and adjusting to becoming a mom.
I remember feeling guilty because I wanted space, and it made me wonder if I was being selfish 😭
Did anyone else feel like this? Or was everyone excited for visitors?

Please don't judge me 😭 Sometimes before opening a fresh diaper I do a quick smell test because I refuse to waste one if it's only gas.
My mom saw me doing it and laughed at me like I had completely lost my mind 😂

Did you start solids before 6 months? Because a lot of mums did — and most of them whisper it.
The guidelines say 6 months. But some babies seem ready earlier. Some mums were advised differently. Some were just going on instinct.
Unpopular thought: are we too quick to judge mums for making calls based on their own baby rather than a general guideline?

Stop too early and you get the raised eyebrows. Keep going past a year and suddenly people have a lot to say about that too.
It feels like there's a very small window where stopping is considered "acceptable." And honestly? That's a bit mad.

Why are we still justifying a completely safe, healthy choice to feed our babies?

BLW mums say it builds independence and a healthy relationship with food. Spoon feeding mums say it's practical, controlled, and works perfectly fine.

But can a phrase that was meant to encourage… actually end up making mums feel like failures?
What about the mum who couldn't latch? Who had no milk supply? Who was on medication? Who was simply exhausted and at her limit?
Fed is best. Full stop. Or do you think "breast is best" still has its place?

Now let's talk about mothers who kiss their baby on the lips 😅
Ever since Baby Uloaku was born, I naturally give her little kisses everywhere—including her lips sometimes 🥹❤️ To me, it's just affection and love.
But I recently saw people saying parents should never do that because adults can pass germs to babies, and now I’m sitting here wondering if I’ve been doing something wrong 😭
Am I the only mom who does this? Did anyone else grow up seeing this and think it was normal too?
Moms please tell me… is this a big no-no or one of those things people judge too much? Let’s talk ❤️

Had this delicious breakfast of airfried potatoes,baked beans and some mangoes. First time doing mangoes and I have not seen anything sweeter except avocados. 😜
