MP Peter Kaluma has praised President William Ruto for what he described as a more open and inclusive State House, arguing that ordinary Kenyans now feel more welcome at the seat of power.

Kaluma contrasted the current administration with previous governments, saying that under Ruto, visitors to State House are treated as valued citizens rather than members of an exclusive circle, a move he says reflects the President's commitment to making government more accessible to the public.

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has secured a significant legal victory after the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT) ruled that ODM violated his right to a fair hearing before resolving to remove him as the party's Secretary General.

The tribunal found fault with the process used by the party, effectively nullifying the move. However, the ruling also gives ODM the green light to initiate fresh disciplinary proceedings against Sifuna, provided they strictly adhere to the party constitution and the law, setting the stage for a renewed political and legal battle within the party.

Renowned Kikuyu events organizer Charity Waruino is set to receive a monthly stipend of KSh50,000 from Denis Itumbi's salary after a job she was reportedly promised in the Deputy President's office was delayed.

The announcement was made by Itumbi during a live phone call while Waruino was being interviewed on Inooro FM.

Former DP Rigathi Gachagua has claimed that he is receiving information, support and consultations from individuals within the government, saying their identities will remain protected.

Speaking during his ongoing political engagements, Gachagua stated that some officials are quietly reaching out to the opposition and assured them of confidentiality, adding that "those who want to come at night are welcome." Kenya's emphatic 16-0 victory over Sudan at the CECAFA U-17 Women's Championship has officially been nullified and replaced with a standard 3-0 walkover after tournament officials ruled on the abandoned match.

The fixture was halted after Sudan were reduced to just six players due to injuries, falling below the minimum number required to continue under the Laws of the Game.

The decision strips the Junior Starlets of a significant goal-difference advantage, pushing them down to second place in Group A behind Tanzania. Despite the setback, Kenya remains firmly in contention for the title and will now take on Uganda in the semi-finals as they continue their pursuit of regional glory. 🇰🇪⚽🔥

There used to be active bars at State House, but they have all been closed since Ruto does not go to bars. A church is now being built in State House, funded by Ruto himself - Kimani Ichung'wah

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah has revealed a striking shift in the lifestyle and culture inside State House, Nairobi, since President William Ruto took office.

According to Ichung'wah, previous administrations maintained active, fully operational bars within the presidential residence. However, all those social spots have now been permanently shut down because President Ruto does not drink or frequent bars.

In place of the old recreational culture, a massive multi-billion shilling church is currently being erected on the State House grounds. President Ruto previously defended the project against critics, emphasizing that he is personally funding the construction out of his own pocket rather than relying on taxpayer money to replace a "tin-roofed" sanctuary he inherited.
