Today, after 6 and a half years, the Toad King's journey comes to an end with the release of Goblinsmoker's The King's Eternal Throne.

A trilogy tale that was told through Toad King (2018) and A Throne In Haze A World Ablaze (2020) - with a side quest in Sweet Paravoid (2022) - comes full circle at last.

As it's my birthday, I feel like sharing some news. 😁

I bloody love Voidlurker, so I'm made up they've decided to re-sign with APF for the release of their sophomore EP, called Loathe For Life. It'll be out on 26th September, with first single Green Ghost landing on 31st July. 🤘

Recorded once again at Foel Studios with Chris Fielding, the EP delivers four great big fat slabs of Sabbath-worshipping, Trouble-bothering, Cathedral-teasing, Witchsorrow-torturing TRUE DOOM. 😎

If you liked 2020's Industrial Nightmare, you're in for a real treat. 😈

Me, starting the packing up of Goblinsmoker's The King's Eternal Throne, last Friday. 4 days later several hundred LPs, cassettes and t-shirts have now been handed over to the long-suffering staff in my local Post Office office ("HOW MANY????!") and are now on the way to your letterboxes. 🤟

The album will be on Spotify, the Apple one, and all the others this Friday. Gotta tell you though, it sounds WAY better on vinyl. 😎

This weekend the packing up of the mountainous pre-order commences, following the arrival today of the tapes and tees. My god you lot have picked up a lot of it! The vinyl should be with us imminently (fingers crossed).

The reviews of Spider Kitten's The Truth Is Caustic To Love album keep on coming. Everyone seems to be loving this record. 💥

We always dig reading what JJ Koczan at The Obelisk has to say. He senses "a kind of creative restlessness that makes each cut find its own way through, some at a decent clip, to leave a dent right in the middle of your forehead." 😎

Alun Jones at Ever Metal, meanwhile, gives the album 9 out of 10 and reckons "it doesn’t take multiple listens to appreciate The Truth is Caustic to Love.
