Spider Kitten have dropped new single and video God Don’t Sleep today. 🎉

It’s taken from the album of the same name, and will give you a flavour of what’s to come when that lands later this year: big, fat, pregnant doom riffs; rolling drums, 3-part harmonies. 😎

On Spotify and all streaming sites it comes with an amped-up B-side: a rampant cover of the Eagles Victim of Love. 😈

Happy release day to Swamp Coffin. Their new single 'Everything Is Nothing' is out in the world today, along with the official video. 🤟

It's their first new music since 2024's Drowning Glory, and it arrives as part of the band's ongoing celebration of Ten Bastard Years of Swamp Coffin. A decade in, the Rotherham trio sound more intense and furious than they ever have. 😎

There's a new album on the way too - more than likely early next year - but 'Everything Is Nothing' should cleanse your palate for now. Get it in your ears. 😈

Spider Kitten will return this autumn. Their new album, God Don't Sleep, lands on 2nd October. 🎉

In many ways a prequel to their mammoth 2016 doom masterpiece Ark of Octofelis, it's packed full of elephantine riffs, 3-part harmonies, jaw-dropping drumming, and bass that will make the ground quake underneath you. 😈

Keep eyes and ears open for the first single which drops next week. If you'd like to know more, the APF webisphere is your friend. Can't wait for you all to hear it. 😎

Ready to hear NXMAD’s The Second Fall album? It lands on Friday, but as is APF tradition, we’ve dropped it in full on the APF YouTube a few days early. 😎

8 years on from debut full-length Feral, you’ll get to hear for yourself how they’ve leaned into a harder sound. Think High On Fire having a brawl with early Mastodon after a night on the lash with Black Tusk. Listen out for a guest appearance by Taz Corona-Brown (Undersmile / Coma Wall) on closing belter Actus Reus. 🤟

The Second Fall was recorded and mixed by Joe Clayton at No Studio, whose credits include Bossk, Pijn, Wode, Leeched and Conjurer, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, known for his work with Sleep, Obituary, Yob, Nails and Corrosion of Conformity. 👌

Gotta be honest, packing up pre-ordered LPs, CD and tees hasn't been the most fun in 30 degree heat this week. The things I do for riffs! They'll be landing on doormats early next week. 👌

The APF website went down last night. Thanks to those who messaged to let me know, it's back online now.

Our technical team has identified two possible causes: an unprecedented surge of orders for the new NXMAD album, or riffs that were simply too heavy for the internet. Or maybe both. Investigations are ongoing.
