1/3 Introducing .community logo.
There’s a lot more to designing a logo than simply choosing a font.
In The Mood Board’s case, we were designing the brand as an extension of existing brand identity, which we created two years ago. Whilst it needed to stand confidently on its own, it was equally important that both brands felt connected and part of the same world. To achieve this, we carried over the customised typography from Sophie Paterson’s identity to create consistency and familiarity.
The Mood Board is an app and community for interior designers and creatives. Because of this, we introduced a more playful and creative feel, layering letters to represent a mood board, whilst the close spacing and intertwining typography reference collaboration and community.
Seeing our work applied to podcast microphones for the expert series is a completely new one for us. A first, and a very exciting one at that.
