Since 2012 The Mamosians have honed their craft uplifting crowds with ease at countless festivals, concerts and club nights. In 2020 The Mamosians have built a dedicated live stream following, are ready with brand new releases and are eager for the return of live shows. Frosty, the producer behind the Mamosians, traces back his musical journey to 1994 and the year’s explosion in British undergroun
d dance music. Particularly vivid memories are of the house parties his dad would throw with fires in the back yard and speakers on the conservatory roof pumping out Gabba, Techno & Hardcore. 1996 saw the finding of his own holy grail; an unlabelled cassette tape containing 20 mins of the Kenny Ken & MC GQ mix for 1 In The Jungle. Frosty would spend the next 15 years ticking off the track listing of this tape, carefully unpacking the soundtrack to his youth. During the summer of 2001, after 5 years with the tape gem constantly on rotation in the boom box, another epiphany. With Dreadzone pumping out stereo of the family car Frosty arrived at the gates of his first festival, realising in that moment that music, adventure and expression were his calling. Siren and her vocals bring a wisdom from the stars right back down to earth, carrying a Northern swagger hailing from Stockport. Fortunate enough to realise a passion for singing in her primary school days, Siren founded the acoustic band Lotus in her 20s. After bouncing from London to Bangkok and back again, Siren made her own space spinning bass orientated music on her own sound system in Manchester. Space is a constant theme, not only outer space but also the time and space to connect with nature and one’s self before landing in the studio or on stage with fresh ideas and energy. Siren’s views her singing as a celebration of human creativity and the music an antidote to the rush of technology and a world out of balance. Siren inspires and encourages everyone to look and see what is around them, taking what you have to make what you need.
