My big brother Eli and his friend Jack have been working hard all week to raise awareness of people with Down Syndrome at our amazing primary school.
•
They both gave an awesome presentation during Monday’s assembly and spoke so well while I was there listening and cheering them on.
•
Our school have also been going the extra mile by teaching 2 new Makaton words each day but they already knew and used lots, even before I went there so I feel very lucky to have such a nurturing and supportive place to learn.

In 2024 people like Angelo are thriving, living their best lives and have progressed but the law in the UK hasn’t and still allows the barbaric practise of allowing babies like my son to be terminated until just before they enter the birth canal at 40 weeks gestation (full term).

In fact my own experience as well as others I know tells me that they feel pressured into doing just that and it’s traumatic.
