The Wind Beneath My Sails💨 - Lytham Windmill stands unchanged while the sky drifts endlessly above it.

Moments like this are why I keep coming back with my camera. Familiar places, shifting light and conditions. Not to mention the quiet satisfaction of capturing a scene that feels both timeless and fleeting at the same time.

A personal note from me, I’d like to dedicate this image to my amazing wife. She’s always encouraging me to grab my camera and head out, even when I’m tempted to stay at home. Many of the photographs I capture simply wouldn’t exist without that gentle nudge and unwavering support, and for that I’ll always be grateful ☺️💙🩷

The plan was to catch the sun tucked neatly beneath the pier’s arch, but the clouds had other ideas. After a long wait, that moment never quite arrived.

Thankfully, the sunset still put on a show, filling the sky with deep golds and fiery light. This ended up being my favourite frame of the evening.

I keep coming back to this view, and somehow it never gets old. Every sunset is different, and every visit reminds me why I love photographing this stretch of coast 🌅📷

It’s slightly surreal seeing my work featured in the Summer issue of Living North Magazine for the North West.

When the team first approached me about creating a coastal photo feature, I honestly never expected it to become something quite this special. From start to finish, they were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I’m genuinely proud to have been part of it.

Photography started simply as a way to spend more time outdoors along our coastline, so seeing those moments now printed across the pages of a magazine feels like a meaningful personal milestone.

This is also the very first Summer issue for the North West, which makes it even more special to be involved in. It’s available now in Booths and M&S stores across the region if anybody happens to spot a copy.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity, and for everyone who continues to support my work along the way 🙏☺️🥰

Woodland Glow 🌼 A quiet flicker of colour beneath the canopy 🌿

I’ve really enjoyed working with the moodier light in this image and pulling through the fine detail in the buttercup’s petals. Keeping the composition minimal helped give the flower space to breathe amongst the shadows 🍃

There’s something about a sunset in St Annes that never really loses its magic. The way the light falls, the sea settles, and for a few moments everything feels still.

I keep finding myself drawn back to the beach……. Not just for the view, but for the sense of calm it brings. Photography has taught me to slow down, to look more carefully, and over time I like to think I’ve grown with it little by little.

More than anything, it’s about moments like this. Standing behind the camera, watching the world create something beautiful far away from the noise and chaos of everyday life ☺️

A touch of pink 💕 It was great to get back out with my camera today, it’s been a while (again). Life’s been crazy with work etc and trying to find the headspace for ‘me time’ has felt impossible. But also crazy to think I’ve not really used my macro for such a long time either, so was super nice to spend a few hours in nature. Super refreshing. Anyways I hope you like my favourite photo from today, let me know what you think in the comments section 🗯️💬💭

There’s something different about photographing a place you return to again and again. The light feels more familiar, more earned.

Living by the coast, with scenes like this on my doorstep, isn’t something I take lightly. Even on the quiet evenings, it reminds me why I keep coming back with my camera
