Dear friend,
Have you ever stopped to think about the purpose of life? Why are we here? What are we meant to achieve? The answer lies in finding a balance between faith and work.
Faith gives us direction, hope, and a sense of purpose. It reminds us that there is more to life than just our daily struggles. As the Bible says, "For we live by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Work, on the other hand, gives us the means to live a dignified life. It allows us to provide for ourselves and our loved ones. The Quran emphasizes the importance of work, saying, "And indeed We have honored the Children of Adam" (Al-Isra' 17:70).
However, it's crucial to work legally and ethically. Involving ourselves in illegal deals, businesses, or hustles, such as scamming, ponzi schemes, or prostitution, may seem tempting, but they lead to destruction. The Bible warns, "Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but he who gathers little by little will increase it" (Proverbs 13:11).
Moreover, engaging in such activities can result in severe legal consequences. The law is clear: if you're caught, you'll face punishment, including fines and imprisonment.
But that's not all. The ultimate punishment comes from God Almighty, who sees all our actions. The Quran warns, "And whoever earns [i.e., commits] a sin only earns it against himself" (Al-Qiyamah 41:17).
Let's strive to live a life of purpose, guided by faith and hard work. Remember, "The one who works righteousness, whether male or female, while being a true believer, verily to him We will give a good life" (Al-Nahl 16:97).
Let's work diligently, but legally. Let's avoid shortcuts that lead to destruction. Instead, let's build a life of integrity, compassion, and wisdom.
As the Bible advises, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10).
May we find purpose, peace, and prosperity in our lives.
