I started recording bands in 1990 when we only had analogue gear which was too expensive for most back then. Ive worked with a number of successful musical artists over the years and was instrumental in helping some to achieve deals with major and independent record labels. The studio here is relatively n

ew and I'm focusing on helping bands young and old to produce, record and mix their music. We are set up to record small guitar bands 3 or 4 piece. Bill Price is a producer and engineer who has worked with The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Guns N' Roses, Sparks,The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Nymphs, The Waterboys, Mott the Hoople and Simon Townshend. Bill also worked with The Who, Pete Townshend told me that he thought Bill Price was a genius and now realizes that some of Bills great work was partly due to the fabulous Cadac consoles Bill had to work with. We have a whole bunch of great quality microphones including U87's Royer,AKG,Sennheiser,Electra Voice,Sure,km 84 padded for snare,Lewitt,peavey,Beyer.Lots of analogue outboard processing including some alternative mic preamps Neve 1073 EQ Focusrite ISA one,WA 73 plus many high quality plugins. The DAW we mainly use is Logic Pro but also have Reaper and UA Lunar. Our AD/DA convertors come courtesy of Univerasl Audio with the Apollo 16 and Apollo twin . Loads more instruments guitars and keyboards and a TAMA STAR CLASSIC BIRCH 6 piece drum kit. We have a small live drum room and both live room and Control room are acoustically treated. I recently met with a friend musician/producer in his home town Curitiba Brazil. He was kind enough to take a day to show me round and took me to an amazing studio and live music complex called “pedreira Paulo leminsky” The studio is still in development but is functioning. I was really impressed by the studios size and design. The live venue has several aspects, the largest open air perminent stage in the world, Black Sabbath recently played there as did Sting and also a recreational cafe restaurant area and Theatre. Here there is another kive stage which is floating on a lake in full view of the recreational area. Im posting some photos and videos check them out.
