Whats on the note Babbybobby is giving Eileen and Kate ?

Join us for an unforgettable evening of laughter, emotion, and remarkable storytelling to find out as we present "The Cripple of Inishmaan" by Martin McDonagh, directed by David Quaife. 🌟

đź“… Mon 03 to Sat 08 July 2023
⏰ Mon - Sat 7:30pm, with a special 2pm Sat matinee

Transport yourself to the captivating shores of a remote island off the west coast of Ireland in 1934, where a peculiar comic tale unfolds. As whispers reach Inishmaan about the arrival of renowned Hollywood director Robert Flaherty to film 'Man of Aran' on the neighbouring island of Inishmore, there is one individual who dreams of being part of this cinematic masterpiece more than anyone else – young disabled Billy. Will he break free from the monotony of his everyday life?
Critics hail this play as a perfect example of McDonagh's unparalleled artistry, blending uproarious humour with heart-wrenching moments of self-discovery. 🎭✨

Don't miss your chance to experience this extraordinary performance, where the sheer hilarity of the comic situation intertwines with the poignant depth of its characters' lives.

Attention all actors! An exciting opportunity awaits you! We are holding open auditions next month for the uproariously funny and risqué comedy "What The Butler Saw" by Joe Orton.

The play centres around a psychiatrist who invents increasingly outrageous lies to cover up his attempts to seduce his young secretary, leading to a chain of hilarious events involving a State Inspector, a philandering wife, bellboy, policemen and some missing bits from a statue of Winston Churchill.

We are looking for talented actors to fill the following roles:

Dr Prentice – A psychiatrist who misuses his position of power.
Geraldine Barclay – A naive secretarial candidate in her late teens/early 20s.
Mrs Prentice – Prentice's sexually repressed wife.
Nicholas Beckett – An over-sexed bellhop from the local hotel in his late teens/early 20s.
Dr Rance – An arrogant psychiatrist and government functionary.
Sergeant Match – A slow-witted police constable who gets caught up in all the sexy antics.

The auditions will take place on Sunday 21st may at the theatre in the bar area, starting from 7:30 pm this evening. The audition will be a read-through style, and we encourage all actors to bring their unique interpretation to the characters.
