Our second video of the week is being worked on as we speak, so I thought I'd just take this chance to post our availability for the rest of October. Remember, all genres of music are welcome, from rock to pop, folk to funk, spoken poetry to choirs! We're delighted to present our first video of the week where we met Kirk McElhinney at The New Oxford in Salford. Not only does he offer a unique and refreshing interpretation of favourite songs spanning the decades, he is also an incredibly talented songwriter and guitarist. He delivered a wonderfully intimate gig in one of the most lively settings we have visited yet, so apologies for any background noise!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend (despite the weather). I'd like to give one more huge thank you to Kirk McElhinney and The New Oxford in Salford, and Dale Murphy and St.Peters Social Club in Stalybridge for their performances and hospitality. Two very different artists, but both delivering fantastic performances. The videos are being edited as I type, so please look out for them soon!

As always, we are busy filling our diary and have some brilliant acts coming up from singers, experienced songwriters and even a young, up-and-coming band that is generating quite a lot of buzz. Happy Saturday, folks! Just a reminder we'll be visiting St.Peters Social Club in Stalybridge to chat to Dale Murphy this evening and it would be great to see you there! Although the storm is mostly passed, please be safe wherever you travel.

It's finally Friday, and not even Storm Amy can dampen our spirits! I just want to extend my thanks to Kirk McElhinney and The New Oxford for a fantastic gig last night, and we can't wait to show you the video.

Our second gig of the week is with the local legend that is Dale Murphy at St.Peters Social Club in Stalybridge starting from 9pm, Saturday 4th. He is Tameside's rock god and always puts on an incredible show, so definitely not one to miss!

Many times this wonderful city has faced challenges like this, but we only get stronger as a community and we don't let it beat us. This is Manchester and we do things differently here

I'm absolutely delighted to say that we are now being listed as a recommended page on Facebook! The past two and a bit months have been a huge learning curve for us, and we have had a fantastic time meeting new people and hearing some truly superb music. There has been hiccups along the way, but the feedback we get from the musicians makes it all worth the while, and so I'd like to take a moment to thank you all for your support, but particularly all the artists and venues that have been so kind to give us their time.
Special thanks in particular should go to our editor extradionaire Mac Beeley, David Fisher and Darren Davies from The Billy Goat and Ashton Arms formally known as Bar 15 respectively, for their dedication to supporting our local musicians and Ken Hulmes for his many recommendations and advice. We really couldn't do it without you, so much love to all of you. I look forward to what happens next! ❤️

Following our weekend break, here is a repost of our second interview we had with Tony Auton of the The Salford Angels, who we met back in August at The Royal Oak, Ashton-Under-Lyne . We've been taking a little rest from gigs this weekend, but we won't be gone for long! We have some exciting acts booked for the future, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, we'll be reposting our first interviews, the first being Harry Lavin from The Velocetas, who we met back in July at The Billy Goat in Mossley. A very talented band covering all your favourites from Punk to Indie rock, lead vocalist Harry took some time to tell us about his influences and impressive career to date.
