Our wedding photos have been shared across the internet, and with that has come an overwhelming amount of homophobic abuse.

Some people have said, “Well, you put your life online, so you should expect it.”

No. Posting wedding photos is not consent to be abused.

I share my floral work every day. Flowers are art. Art exists to make people feel something. To inspire, challenge, and sometimes divide opinion. That’s part of being an artist.

But we are not art. We are people.

We are two husbands. We are parents. We are raising a young son who is loved beyond measure.

Reading comments that call us child molesters, question our ability to be parents, or claim our son must be unhappy because he has two dads isn’t “having an opinion.” It’s hatred. It’s dehumanising. And it has real consequences for real families.

People often ask why Pride is still needed.

This is why.

Pride is the one place where my husband, my son, and I can walk hand in hand without wondering who might shout abuse. It’s a place where our son can look around and see families like his celebrated instead of criticised. It’s where, for one day, we don’t have to explain our existence or justify our love.

We don’t want special treatment.

We want the same thing every family wants: to love openly, raise our son, celebrate life’s biggest moments, and feel safe doing so.

If you can’t understand why that matters, then perhaps it’s time to ask yourself why two men getting married makes you so uncomfortable.

Your belief system isn’t a platform for spiritual abuse. Your narrow minds are not the right way of life, and your red flags are not normal!

We are the normal, we are the standard of love, commitment, and compassion. People who respect these things are real people. Your negativity is a reflection of your own miserable, fed-up lives!

We are loved, we are blessed, and we are grateful. Along with that comes the understanding not to abuse others whom we might see as different or questionable. Why? Because we are content.

Go work on yourself ew! 🙄

Last night we were invited down to be enthralled by the Choir of Man. What an immersive, interactive, and captivating experience; the talent of these men and their creative expression allow for a truly artistic evening full of different creative mediums and spoken word. A message of love, passion, friendship, and home.

This pub stage holds a story, a story of commitment, community, and unity. We weren’t just watching a stage production; we were part of it. We were well and truly with the lads down the pub.

Thank you to Grand Opera House York | Theatre and to the The Choir of Man for a beautiful experience. Definitely a recommendation from us.

Their love story blooms in bold elegance, where timeless tailoring meets the untamed beauty of floral artistry. In this striking editorial, the grooms redefine wedding sophistication, embodying a vision of modern romance layered with power, grace, and unapologetic individuality.

Draped in impeccably tailored black tuxedos, each groom commands attention with effortless poise, while cascading white orchids and lush botanical accents transform tradition into high fashion. The juxtaposition of structured suiting against organic florals creates a breathtaking narrative: strength softened by beauty, masculinity elevated through design, and love expressed without limits.

This look is more than wedding style, it is a statement. A celebration of two souls standing confidently in their truth, adorned not only in couture but also in symbolism. The florals represent growth, devotion, and the flourishing of a partnership rooted in resilience and passion.

Together, they embody floral excellence and empowered love, proving that wedding fashion can be both commanding and romantic. Their presence is magnetic, their style unforgettable, and their union a testament to the beauty of authenticity.

In this moment, love is not simply worn, it is artfully curated, fearlessly displayed, and forever in bloom.

LOVE IN FULL BLOOM

The hearts of the universe seem to shine brighter today as we honour the incredible journey of Steven and Conor—a love story that has blossomed and endured for an awe-inspiring 15 years. These two soulmates have stood hand in hand, weathering life’s storms with unwavering devotion and fierce passion. Today is more than a celebration of their unbreakable bond; it’s a tribute to the love that has transformed their lives and touched everyone around them. Together, they have faced every challenge with courage and grace, proving that true love is resilient, fiery, and endlessly inspiring. Today, we revel in their love, their journey, and the beautiful legacy they continue to build—a love that forever lights the way for us all.

There are moments that don’t just mark a milestone—they redefine what celebration looks like. This is one of them.

Two grooms stand side by side, hands joined, not only in commitment but in quiet confidence. Their tailored black suits speak of tradition, yet everything else tells a richer, more daring story. Cascading florals—delicate orchids, wild greenery, sculptural arrangements—transform them into living compositions. Strength meets softness. Structure meets nature. Masculinity expands, unapologetically.

This is floral empowerment.

Gone are the days when wedding aesthetics followed rigid rules. Here, love is styled with intention: lush textures draped across shoulders, blooms worn like statements, not accessories. Each petal feels symbolic—growth, renewal, the courage to be seen fully and freely.

Their gaze is steady, their posture grounded. There’s no need for spectacle when authenticity takes centre stage. The intimacy between them is unmistakable: a subtle handhold, a shared stillness, a quiet declaration louder than any vow.

Around them, the florals echo their union—organic, vibrant, alive. Not arranged to impress, but to express. This is what happens when love is allowed to flourish without constraint.

This is not just a wedding. It’s a reimagining, a blooming of identity, partnership, and pride. And in this moment, love doesn’t just exist—it grows.
