I had so much fun making this lunch bag using a mix of embroidery and sewing! 🌈✨ It was a lovely little project to play with bright fabrics and textures, and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Best of all, it works beautifully for my daughter’s lunches! 💖🧵

I made this colourful pet rug as a special gift for a dear friend’s furry companion — but let’s just say someone in my house thought it was meant for them! 😅

While I was trying to snap a few photos, my own little Mavis tried to claim it as hers. Can’t really blame her though — it's soft and with its cheerful spirals of colours it’s hard to resist!

Crafted with care, a whole lot of love and more patience than I'd anticipated this rug was a lovely first project to try using jelly roll fabrics. 💕

✨ Exciting new arrival in the sewing room! ✨

Meet my glamorous new assistant — a fully adjustable dress form who’s about to become a pretend version of me (minus the tea breaks). I’ve never used one before, so this is a whole new sewing adventure!

She’s here just in time too — because I’ve got a very special project ahead: helping create wedding dress magic for my sister’s big day next year! EEEEEKK 💍👗

Just finished this floaty little number in the loveliest viscose from Merry Maid Fabrics Merry Maid New Ollerton and I’m obsessed — mostly because… it has POCKETS!! ✨

Seriously, is there anything better?

Perfect for twirling, lounging, or pretending I have somewhere fancy to be! * twirls dramatically *💃

Had fun with some embroidery, and wow—what a difference a second attempt makes!

First try: wonky stitches, weird tension, and a general “what am I even doing?” vibe.
Second try: actually looking like I meant to do it!

It’s so fun seeing little improvements with practice. Not perfect, but definitely better, both were fun to make! Celebrating the mess and the progress!

I'm thrilled to share this dress I made this weekend 💃 I really enjoyed making this dress and used my fav fabric and buttons to make it really special, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

Beautiful fabric was from and the pattern is the Penny dress from Sew Over It

Today's me made is one I made a while ago...I ran into a fabric shortage last night 🤣
The top is crocheted in cotton, so although it isn't summery colours it's very light and breathable.
Skirt is made by me, and I'm super proud of putting in a zip properly!!
