I was reflecting today on how this little business journey of mine has unfolded.
Over the years Iโve tried a number of different things. Iโve worked in travel, run businesses online, and spent several years in the health and wellness space with supplements โ something I still have an interest in because I care a lot about wellbeing.
Some things worked well.
Some things didnโt quite work out the way I hoped.
When I stepped away from the last business I was involved in, I remember wondering what might come next. I even looked at another opportunity because I loved the products and what the company stood for.
But something just didnโt quite sit right for me at that point in my life.
I couldnโt fully explain itโฆ I just knew it wasnโt the step I was meant to take.
And looking back now, I think it was because something else was beginning to take shape.
Around that same time I was looking for a planner for myself โ something that wasnโt just about to-do lists, but that also reflected who I am as a Christian woman and helped me stay connected with God in everyday life.
When I couldnโt quite find what I was looking for, I decided to create one for myself.
And somewhere along the way, Auburn & Ink began.
Iโm still at the beginning of the journey, but itโs been really special creating something that brings together creativity, reflection, faith, and everyday life.
Sometimes the path forward isnโt always obvious at the timeโฆ but when you look back, you can see how the pieces were slowly coming together.
Has anyone else ever had a moment where something didnโt work outโฆ but later you realised it was leading you somewhere new? โจ
