Stores person position - We are looking for an addition person to assist with stores , stock control , trade counter etc and generally assisting in workshop as and when required.

Some experience of Sage stock control and making hydraulic hoses would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

Mon - Fri 8am till 5pm , salaried position with 30 days holiday , company pension scheme etc

Above and beyond ! - so when a pallet of components for a customers rush job gets collected by Fedex for airfreight ( 3-4 days service) on 5th December and gets misrouted and comes from Italy to Belgium ( for 5 days) before being put on wrong plane and ends up in Israel (for 4 days ) and then to paris finally arrives , FedEx decide they aren’t bringing it as we are closed . So we had to go to fedex depot today 27/12 to collect ( and hand ball on as they didn’t have a forklift driver !) and take to customer so he can get builds finished and machines to his customer by 5th Jan deadline .

Not something we want to be doing regularly but highlights the difference between small firms with good customer service for valued customers and firm like FedEx who don’t give a s**t .

Stores/stock control person required . Some experience of hydraulic components and making hydraulic hoses would be an advantage . The role involves all aspects of stock control including placing purchase orders , checking in stock and making up and despatching sales orders. Dealing with customers at the trade counter also involved .

Mon -fri 8am-5pm . Salaried position with 30 days holiday a year . Competitive salary dependant on experience.

Ayrshire to Michigan USA - new customer desperate for 2 hose reels for a project found our website. We had exactly what he needs in stock so hoses were made and fitted and the 2 units en-route to him within hours of him ordering.
