CALLING WOMEN IN BUCKS! 👮‍♀️

Do you ever feel unsafe when out in public on your own? Do you want to get out and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and supportive group? Do you have any thoughts on how you’d like TVP to tackle violence against women and girls (VAWG)?

-local to Marlow and surrounding areas
Thames Valley Police are hosting our next ‘Walk For Women’ event in Marlow and we want you to come along, walk with us and have a chat about VAWG and how we can help keep women & girls safe.

Please come and join us on Wednesday 15th October 2025 from 18:00-19:00, we’ll be meeting outside Court Garden Leisure Centre where a team of our female officers will lead a relaxed-pace walk around the lovely Higginson Park whilst listening to your thoughts & ideas

Officers from the Rural Crime Taskforce are currently conducting hot spot patrols throughout Oxfordshire 🚔

These patrols have included off road patrols around areas that have previously been targeted in burglary series, as well as some public engagement at The Witney Feast Festival 👮‍♂️

🚨| Arrested

On Monday (15/9) just after 4pm, officers from the proactive team detained a male on Goosen Green, Aylesbury.

Following a search, the 34-year-old from London was arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs.

He is now under investigation for;

➡️ Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A - Co***ne

➡️ Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B - Cannabis

➡️ Being concerned in the supply of Co***ne

➡️ Being concerned in the supply of Cannabis

➡️ Acquire/Use/Possess criminal property, namely cash

He remains in custody.

The Taskforce has officers conducting patrols near Donnington and around West Berkshire tonight following a recent spike in hare coursing activities in the area 🚔

Following our investigation, a man has been charged with attempted murder in Oxford.

Romario Qatja, aged 30, of Pipkin Way, Oxford, was charged with one count each of attempted murder and dangerous driving today.

The charges relate to an incident in St Clement’s Street at around 10.30pm on Saturday. One of the victims remains in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

Qatja was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.

PC’s Dollery and Speke spotted this vehicle on the A420 near Faringdon this evening. The vehicle was being driven in a poor manner and has previously been linked to suspicious circumstances towing a caravan 👮‍♂️

With assistance from a dog handler the vehicle was stopped in Oxford for a document check 🚔 Vehicle seized for no insurance ❌
