๐Ÿš” Its week of action. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ ๐Ÿ”—

๐Ÿš“ All 43 police forces and British Transport Police๐Ÿš† come together for the important campaign to take positive action to tackle knife-related crime.

๐Ÿ”ช As part of the initiative members of the public are being urged to safely dispose of unwanted knives and bladed articles in the amnesty bins.

๐Ÿ”ช There is a knife amnesty bin located at the front counter of Maidenhead Police station, where knives and bladed articles can be disposed of.

The Team held a prevention stand at the location of , , yesterday.

It was an opportunity for Officers to speak directly with members of the public to raise awareness about the dangers and consequences of knife crime, to build trust, encourage reporting and promote safer streets for the community.

๐Ÿšจ Knife crime affects lives and communities, together we can try to make a difference and break the cycle of violence and build safer futures for our young people.๐Ÿšจ

We have been busy speaking to the residents of Newbury this morning.

PCSO's from the Newbury Neighbourhood team conducted a "Have your say" at the retail park where they discussed scams on the lead up to Christmas.

We thank those who also spoke to us about community issues and we will be following these up accordingly.

If you see us out and about please come and say ๐Ÿ‘‹

On the 19th of November at Milton Keynes Full Council I asked the Cabinet Member responsible for Public Realm, as to when the Council will look into sorting out the drains to the underpass that keeps flooding between Shenley Lodge and Shenley Church End. Despite residents and I reporting this, it seems not to be a priority for the Council to repair. The Cabinet member replied that she was not aware of the issue and would look into this matter! I will continue to chase up on the progress.

Tonight while grabbing some food on Shinfield Road๐Ÿ“Œwe witnessed a Range Rover speeding after an altercation with another driver.

When stopped, the driver insisted the road was a 30mph โ€” despite it being clearly signed as 20mph โ€” and became increasingly irate๐Ÿ˜ก. It was evident that a simple word of advice wasn't going to suffice in this instance, so we decided to report her for the offence.

Whilst in the process of writing the ticket at the roadside, the driver chose to reverse her vehicle while filming on her phone to demand my shoulder number๐Ÿ˜’.

As if the situation couldn't get worse for her: using a handheld mobile device whilst driving adds an extra offence carrying โŒsix penalty points and a ๐Ÿ’ทยฃ200 fine.

You can imagine the driver didn't take this news well...
