🚨 TWO MEN ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF R**E FOLLOWING INCIDENT IN MILTON KEYNES

Thames Valley Police is investigating an alleged r**e reported to have happened in Milton Keynes at around 5pm on Sunday.

Police say a woman in her forties reported that she had been r**ed.

Two men, aged 49 and 25, both from Milton Keynes, have been arrested on suspicion of r**e and remain in police custody while enquiries continue.

The woman is being supported by specially trained officers.

A police cordon has been in place on Elder Gate as part of the investigation, with police saying it is expected to be lifted later on Monday.

Detective Inspector Graeme Williams said officers are treating the investigation as a priority and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

⚖️ Man jailed for r**e and sexual assault of teenage girl

Following an investigation, Glen Stone, 37, (pictured) has been sentenced to nine years' imprisonment after being convicted of r**e and sexual offences against a 16-year-old girl in South Oxfordshire.

Stone was also made subject to a 15-year S*xual Harm Prevention Order, placed on the S*x Offenders Register indefinitely and given an indefinite restraining order to protect the victim.

Detective investigator Pippa Sharman said: "This conviction is in no small part due to the remarkable bravery, resilience and courage shown by the victim. From the moment she reported what happened, she has supported this
investigation and criminal justice process with immense strength."

Officers investigating an offence of r**e in Slough have made an arrest.

A 23-year-old man from Stockton-On-Tees, county of Durham, was arrested on Friday (25/9) on suspicion of r**e.

The arrest relates to an incident on Tuesday (22/9) in an alleyway on Lansdowne Avenue, just beyond Pickford Gardens, when a member of the public was approached by a man who shouted at the victim and exposed himself, before ra**ng him.

The arrested man has been released on bail with conditions, while our thorough investigation continues.

✨ Aylesbury Festival of Lights 2026 ✨

What a fantastic day at the Annual Aylesbury Festival of Lights at the Discover Bucks Museum.
Officers spent time at the event throughout both the afternoon and evening, enjoying the variety of performances, meeting members of the local community, and taking the opportunity to engage with those attending.
It was great to see so many people come together to celebrate and enjoy the activities on offer, culminating in the spectacular light and lantern parade within the museum's walled gardens.
Thank you to the organisers, volunteers, performers and everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. We were pleased to be part of the day and look forward to supporting future community events across Aylesbury.
