Frankenstein was by far the easiest design to initially conceive as the whole project starts with his reinvention. Uncle Frank was born from the Original idea to rework the classic monsters. Although he’s the most complicated actual design. But once I got to grip with the nuts and bolts of it, I enjoyed giving him life.

The Mummy design has always been a tricky one. Never sure what to do with it. I liked the no eyes approach I initially took and worked in a scarab motif. The story we have has a male and a female mummy but with the Tom Cruise version coming out a few years ago I was reluctant about that direction. But a good idea is an idea and so it was worth not keeping her Undewraps any longer.

The Werewolf was one the most thought out of the designs. Based on the concepts that we came up with for the forthcoming werewolf feature we’ve been working on. I wanted to infuse some colour until it too but still trying to keep it grounded. The design has been through a few over hauls but the wolf vest has been one a mainstay.

Dracula was the one I struggled with the most. I liked the original batesque design more than the 2020 rework of a more human form. So I wanted to combine the 2 but keep the string solid colour from the original idea.
In the end I came up with turning the wings into a coat of sorts, whilst keeping his Jimmy Saville hair do, the hair do of true evil.

Hard to hone in on the face with this one. The Creature isn’t a public domain figure like most of the others so keeping far away from his Universal look is tricky, but not undoable. I was thinking of switching the colour scheme to a more traditional green one. But I like the og one and it’s a classic TMNT scheme that I like.

But this is my redesign of my og Creech.
