DELL'EST - A premium leather bag and accessories brand The brand DELL’EST was launched in Milano, Italy, in 2007 by the founder Sung Kim.

DELL’EST means ‘From or Of the East’ which was fitting as Sung moved from Seoul, S. Korea to Milano, Italy in 2000 to pursue a career in fashion. Early in Sung’s career he started as a pattern designer for such brands as Ermenegildo Zegna & Valentino gave him the hands on experience with fine Italian workmanship. Even to this day the patterns for every bag in his current collection is personally drawn by Sung Kim. Later work as a fashion buyer for several high end multi brand boutiques allowed him a great understanding on the retail side of the business and in 2007 the DELL’EST brand was launched. Since 2007 the collection has successfully been shown in Milano, Paris and more recently in New York during both men and women’s fashion week. DELL’EST has been picked up by market leading buyers such as Bergdorf Goodman NYC, Isetan Tokyo, Lane Crawford HongKong and Antonioli Milano. Since 2008 items from the collection have been featured in print media in such magazines as Vogue Italia, W magazine USA, Harper’s Bazaar and in 2009 Sung Kim was selected by Vogue Italia as one of the Emerging Talents of 2009. Sung Kim currently resides in San Francisco, California and Seoul, S. Korea with a showroom for DELL’EST in Milano, Italy.
